Okay I’m going to be serious for a moment. This is exactly how I feel when I’m having a panic attack. I endlessly repeat something that I think will ‘save’ me from the things that are stressing me out, until the repeating takes over every aspect of my mind. This song is exactly what it feels like going through cancer treatment, you feel like your in a vicious never ending circle, dying yet breathing, crying yet healing. You just wish someone would come and help you, but everything feels on repeat. Xxx ❤

my interpretation of the song: The girl is in the middle of an either mentally or physically, abusive relationship. Possibly both. She wants to return to her old life but is too scared to take the chance. she blames herself for all the things happening to her, hence calling herself a fool, and is too afraid to ask for help ("one day I won't keep hiding the truth"). From the quote "repeating, repeating, etc.." we can infer that this has been going on for quite some time. From the beginning of the song it also seems as though she developed Stalkhome syndrome: "You're the oxygen I need, yet I can't breathe". As well as "You haunt me in my dreams, but it's all I want to see". It's probly not correct, and maybe the song doesn't carry a meaning in general, but I find the lyrics to be interesting and fit the situation fairly well.

I love it when people use Gumi English so well. It honestly sounds like something you'd hear by a popular celebrity since it sounds very lively.

Ok- so- um- Quick thing my weird-ass brain came to- The chorus sounds like a panic attack- Circling through the same thought pattern an descending into distress and panic, but then, once you hear verse 2, it kinda sounds like psychosis, or something similar to that nature- and as someone who suffers from anxiety-induced situational psychosis, it sounds all to familiar. The anxiety racking your body, huddled in the corner as reality itself crumbles around you. The circular thought pattern, blaming myself, hyperventilating, trying to make sense of anything that's happening around me. The confusion and fear involved with a mental disorder that leaves you questioning whether anything going on is real. This song is about change, and it's about consistency, and guess what? It -hurts.- Changing who you are to better yourself is a struggle. it hurts more because the people that you are with now and the lifestyle that you live will push against you. You will always find those who will help you but you must push back against that which kept you in the place you were before hand. And it didficult, it's one of the most difficult things someone can do. But you keep going with it because you know it'll be worth it. And it gets easier eventually, but this song highlights the worst parts of it. And its important to know that pain. So one day you may experience true peace so that you may once again sleep peacefully. Again this is just what this sing means to me. I think what's great about it is that it can fit whatever meaning you want to put in it.
