Here I'm showing is the last of my Kirby vacuums that I have in my collection. I got this vacuum about 5 years ago from a Neighbor of mine. This used to be their vacuum back when they used to have their old cabin at the time. I remember when I went up there for the only time, I got a chance to vacuum the place so I used this for the first time and I immediately fell in love with this vacuum. This is my favorite Kirby of all time. I love the looks of it, it's a really powerful vacuum, and I love the sound of it (It's like music to my ears). When I heard the news that they sold the place, I asked about the vacuum, apperently I found out that the Heritage II was later replaced from up there with a Kirby Generation Series (I think it was a G5) that they were going to give to their daughter. They told me that they still have their old one, it had since been put into storage but they told me that I can have it. A few weeks later, the vacuum is now mine. It didn't come with any attachments, this even didn't had any attachments in the first place when this used to be at the cabin. The other vacuums they also had up there before that did had attachments were a maroon Royal Hand Vacuum and a yellow Shop Vac (I don't know the models on both of them). Otherwise the vacuum came in really good shape, all I've done so far is replacing the handle spring, and sew some rips on the outer bag. Still needs work, still needs to get completely cleaned up, the mini emptor needs to get replaced, I need to put new decals on this, and the toe touch control mechanism will need to be replaced (I swapped one with another machine but that didn't work). I will later upgrade using white HEPA Micron Magic bags on this. Overall this is a really great vacuum, very powerful agitation and really impressive airflow on this.
As you can see I featured another vacuum that matches my Heritage II and that's my Kirby Split Second. This one my parents got brand new back when they lived at their old house about more about 30 years ago. They said either someone gave it to them or won it as a prize. It got used here and there until when they moved into this house, this was put into storage so now it's mine. This one can only be used for vacuuming inside vehicles as you can see. Overall just like any other car vacuum, it's very weak. It can still get the job done by picking up the surface dirt but it's not powerful enough to get the deep down dirt.
