And for good reason. I'm pretty sure that Star Dream Soul OS has the most phases of any video game boss ever made if you break it down. So, two "rounds" (segments with similar base mechanics between their component phases) - 3D Shmup (Outside Star Dream) and 2D Platformer (Inside Star Dream) Within that, there's a total of five major phases (segments grouped between "resets"). And then within that, it gets insane. Major Phase 1 has 3 minor phases (Initial, Meteor Shower, Giant Laser) Major Phase 2 has an additional 4 minor phases (Initial, H, A, L) Major Phase 3 introduces another 6 minor phases (Initial, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) with an additional interphase attack pattern (CRITICAL ERROR, designed to punish the player for not defeating Star Dream before the end of the countdown). Major Phase 4 has yet another 2 minor phases (initial and second) Major Phase 5 has only one proper phase, but it also adds an additional "suicide attack" at the end. So, if you count all the minor phases, that's a total of 16 different phases.

Comparing the total amount of damages, it's Charge 3 > Charge 2+1 > Charge 1+1+1. So basically, full charge is most effective. But still smaller charges are better in some case.

Oh now that you mentioned it, they're like getting only one hit from when Kirby uses attacks that does multi-hits. Nevertheless, I'm excited to use this once I get my copy of the game.

Ice's Super Ice Sprinkle is obviously stronger than normal one, and Hammer's Ultra Giant Swing is less strong than normal one. Boss corpses has invincibility while they are in air. So, maybe you hit them too early. And, Hammer is not nerfed at all. Just Giant Swing has huge advantage in Planet Robobot because Bosses has no invincibility after getting hit.

No, It's same as in Triple Deluxe. API always moves to Kirby's back side when Kirby stands on center. Just stand like this video, then turn back and attack after API moved to hittable position.

Cutter for Stock Meta Knight, Ice for Dedede clones, U.F.O. for Star Dream (Doctor if you don't have amiibo), Hammer for rest of all Currently, this is the fastest way.

Don't get hit by enemy's "attacks", like lightning, bullet, rush, etc. They always cause to lose your ability. Just touch enemy itself.

esuwai I don't even mean Ice-specific, I just mean jump-canceling as a whole. I tried with hammer and couldn't get the timing there either.

Keep trying, and try various timing of input. No one can handle it from the beginning. You can do it eventually!

He did since Return to Dreamland. It was retconned in Triple Deluxe, but returned in this game, albeit with less damage. And for the record, that's supposed to be an ice-ball.

I think I discovered it by accident when playing RTDL. I looked through the pause menu to see exactly how to use the technique and used it all the time whenever I used Ice since.

The thing is, we never knew that Super Ice Sprinkle has such high DPS. Also, I think a lot of people still do not know that bosses no longer receive invincibility frames from hits. That technicality was the reason why Hammer and its Hammer Flip was the go-to ability back in Super Star Ultra. But now, double Giant Swings usually have more DPS. Although, there are still a few moments where Hammer Flip is better.

(The Dashing Way To Travel With Scorching Heat!) In Other Words, Only Some (Not Just 3) Of The Abilities Can Beat The True Arena In Under 12 Minutes (Average Less Than 60 Seconds Per Round)... When Fire Is Not One Of Them! (Ninja Would Barely Make It [Best Is 12:18.94]... +E-Star99 I used poison because of the invincibility frames on dash attack and the fact you can place clouds that deal damage when you dodge. But whatever works for you and congrats!
