Dude the slot drilling was absolute genius. It's a perfect example of not having the "correct" tools for the job but still doing it correctly. Also that one drill bit was huge. Massive even.

A little tip about drilling plastic: use slow drill speeds and a sharp bit. If you use a speed that's too fast or a dull bit you will melt the plastic leaving burs that are much harder to remove.

my rscb for this keeps double feeding
@skye14913 ай бұрын
@@mattie_y hmm, i mean on the one hand if its just two ayyy shottie, on the hand of accuracy hmm... What about a lil relief valve of sorts using a pinhole where the next dart needs to stop, like the dart covers the hole when its seated in the rscb but when its pulled into the chamber it pulls that next dart but the pinhole stops the dart because suction?? Im very unsure. Maybe you could have an O-ring in there to stop the next dart? Ive seen people usually use a change of inner diameter to slightly smaller just enough to stop the next dart.

This is similar to a toy my brothers and I had as kids, we called them "Burp Guns" because the noise they made. It was the same concept though, two pipes that slide in each other like a trombone. One end was sealed, and on the other was a rubber gasket. To load the gun you rolled the gasket back over the tube and slipped these plastic balls in. They were a bit like pingpong balls but a bit smaller and thicker plastic so they were more durable and heavier. Then you flip the gasket back up. When you compress the pipes it pushed the ball against the rubber making a seal, and as the pressure built up it would overcome the resistance and shoot the ball out at high speed. We had a grand time launching these things all over the house. We even modified some of them with extra rubber bands around the rubber end so it made a tighter seal and built up more pressure before the ball launched out
