actually the Miele here did not have full suction manly because they had the suction nub set to the lowest setting!! LOL....look at the video again!....so either they did not read the instruction for the Miele or they did it un propose the help the Kirby win

It would be a tie. Kirbys have HEPA bags and Mieles have HEPA filters. They both do pretty much the same thing.

tomp999. yes It will...2nd and 3ed time. b/c of the limited size of the 'bag' aka the small dirt meter cloth...a full bag will have more surface area to catch more dirt..... its merely a surface area/sq/ft property. I have a meter, have tried it myself on my own carpet. Its a quick revealing test

Kirby was started in 1914, Miele has been selling high end appliances since 1888. Just because it is a 1500-2500 dollar vacuum does not mean its better and this video is biased and the OP are both probably Kirby salesmen

There is no way in hell a Miele can clean as good as Kirby! The Kirby has double the amount of cfm as the Miele and way better agitation! The two most important things to clean carpet! I’d love to know the vacuum that u think is on par with the cleaning ability of a Kirby or any direct air machine.

That kinda describes you. There is no way unless you have much larger motors and/or fans that a hose vacuum can have more suctions than a direct contact vacuum. Comparing an equal size hose vacuum to a Kirby, the Kirby will win everytime. I'd be happy to prove that to you anytime.

please do, i own both models in this video - and btw, when it comes to carpets, the beater brush is more important than suction, which is why suction it used as a marketing tool for every vacuum on tv, cause dumbass like you believe it.. lmao

the kirby has remained basically unchanged since 1950 - in the way they do just about everything.. yes- im clueless,, but my carpets are cleaner than yours, and so is the air in my home :) the only dust my kirby sees now is whats collecting on it in my attic.. take care..

Ha. Filter Queen. What a piece of shit vacuum. You have to replace a filter every time you vacuum, they start losing suction as soon as you start cleaning, and they fall apart after not even a year worth of use. I will never own another Filter Queen.
