Have fun learning about Kirchoff's Laws in this complete tutorial. In this example I explain the Kirchoff's loop rule. The loop rule is one of Kirchoff's laws. It states the potential voltage is equal to zero.
If you need any extra help I do offer homework solutions. Check out my website www.mathmeeting.com/live-tutor... .
My name is Chris and my passion is to teach math. Learning should never be a struggle which is why I make all my videos as simple and fun as possible. I cover all subjects from basic level math through upper level calculus and statistics. I also make brain teaser, word problems, and Rubik's cube videos for fun.

This is the second KZfaq tutorial I’ve seen that says current flows out of the positive terminal of a power source. In the case of two batteries in series, the current will flow out of the negative terminal of the battery with the highest voltage and flow into the negative terminal of the battery with the lower voltage. This is why you need a 14 volt source to charge a 12 volt car battery.

Current flowing out of the positive terminal is called conventional current. Current flowing out of the negative terminal is called electron current. Electron current is obviously what actually happens but conventional current is the standard that most of the world follows.

As a electrical engineering all I can say is good explanation of this topic. These videos are a good thing for remembering small stuff I learned in first years in my university. Do you have in plan maybe making a video of solving a circuit same as last one but this time including inductors and capacitors???

If our direction of journey and current is in same direction so it will be negative voltage if our direction of journey and current is opposite so voltage is positive 🙂🙂

Satyam Srivastav if this is the answer, then negative current means assumption of true current direction is wrong.

At 6:52 you can see 18V - (90Ω)I = 0 Using algebra, we subtract 18V from both sides to get - 90(Ω)I = -18V Divide both sides by -90Ω to get I = -18V/-90Ω Put that into a calculator (-18/-90) and you get .2 A
