This rap is my favorite of all of his raps. Some of the other raps were more "flashy" and so when I first watched it it wasn't my favorite. I watched it again though, and it gets better each time. Part of it is the craftsmanship of the music, and the other part is how much I can relate to the theme of the rap.

Man, I love that scene where he's fighting Rappa even better in the manga. So he actually mentions he's actually hardening his blood as the first layers break, basically. At the end when he falls and Fat Gum catches him he's just covered head to toe in blood and gore where he's just been hardening through. It's an amazing scene in the anime, but it is SO EPIC in the manga. SO HARDCORE.

Tbh,In season 4 when we see the flash back of him before UA he could only harden small pieces of his body. Compare that to seasons 1-4 where he was become able to Harden legs,arms,His torso,His face,And his whole body to the point where he was unbreakable.Kirishima is the mvp bruh

i dont like how much anime tuned down his fight with rappa. when he came back to take those extra hits after even fat gum considering him out of combat, rappa was hitting him so hard and so much that chunks of hardened skin was falling of his body. by the end of fight his arms lost most of the skin and only reason he did not bleed to death is cause he didnt bleed due to his body being hardened. (bleeding was lessened due to flow being slower thanks to muscles and bones being hardened too, not just skin). i dont read manga but my friend who does told me so. i was shocked to hear it because that completely changes his character. all is saw in anime is hero going plus ultra. but if my friend is not bullshiting me and this ^ really happened then kirishima is much deeper than "lets go plus ultra" because i would take that as "what am i doing, my quirk is useless all i can do is defend. what use am i to anyone if i cant even defend, if i cant even protect someone." knowing that he is literally sacrificing his skin to protect fat gum shows that he would rather die a hero than live as a kid playing a hero. again, other manga readers can correct me if i am wrong because i dont read manga and i am afraid to proofcheck this due to spoilers since i only watch anime but if some manga readers says that this is not the case or better yet, confirm it, i would appreciate it. either way kirishima is amazing character and i really like him
