The flower only blooms when a beast tamer is present, so Roselia not being a beast tamer would mean she can't just get her own, thus making it quite a rare item.

*NOT SPOILERS, EXPLAINING THINGS YOU DIDNT GET* So as you know there are 100 floors in SAO, and on each floor there is a boss that prevents you from advancing to the next floor. After beating the boss it will no longer spawn, and the next floor is open for everyone for exploration. Floors are entirely new maps with new and stronger mobs and different environment (weather, flora and etc), it is basically unknown territory. The floor with flowers was already long explored from what we can tell, and the top floor that have not been beaten are constantly being explored for mobs/loot/boss location, but being there is dangerous. Hope that I cleared misunderstandings about progression mechanics. Keep it up guys, you currently have some of the best animes out there in your list

It isn't mentioned in the anime, but in the LN that Silica came across Pina(a feathered dragon) when she was taking a break and having a snack while grinding. She put out some of her food, which by coincidence was a favorite food of Pina's. There was also the requirement of her not having killed any of Pina's type. By doing so, Pina became her familiar.

this is one of my favorite episodes in the entire series.

One of the things they should have shown was all of the PKer players who thought it was ok to kill because "there was no indicator that players would die in real life" should be shown exactly how wrong they were. Would have been interesting to see their reactions to the suffering they had a direct hand in causing.

Btw they have to clear all 100 FLOORS of the game. Each floor is a mini world. They tell you in the subtitles which floor they’re on, but you have to pay attention to know how many they’ve cleared so far - regardless of what level they personally level up to.

Most MMORPG games also have divided exp gains when in a party. Kirito as a solo player isn’t sharing exp. If you think of a party of 5 getting say 1k exp from a kill they each get 200. Kirito gets the full 1k so he levels up faster but the members of the assault team aren’t actually to far from him. He can survive because he doesn’t freak out like Silica did when he finds a monster.

Kirito explained to Silica when she met him the flower ONLY spawns in the presence of Beast Tamers so Rosalia wouldn’t have been able to get it. I don’t remember the amount but a Beast Tamer was just about the rarest thing to see really in SAO. We only met Silica but in the games they made it seem like there was maybe less then 50 or so.

I already said that in the other video, but their level is not equivalent to the floor they are on. They can be level (ex: Kirito lvl 78) but still be on the 60 ° floor

It only spawns if a player with a familiar goes there, since none of them have familiars, the flower will not spawn for them.
