@White Krispy ............He led a life of philanthropy, after his acting career. He was just a man, human like you, human like me. Everyone's life turns out different. He wrote so many books and gave the proceeds to charity. He raised a large family, and was instrumental in saving the life of his grandson. He gave over 50 million dollars through his charities. Has anyone ever imagined what 50 million dollars looks like sitting on your kitchen table? He doesn't appear to have lived a miserable life at all. .........perhaps he lived the life of 10 men, starting poor as a Ragman's son, and loving & living the LIFE he was given, without ever stopping. When all is said and done with your life, (hopefully your real name isn't White Krispy), what will you have done with yours? There is a silent dialogue in the world, one that hates rich people, famous people, ROCKY type people. He lived 103 years. How long have you lived.....what have you done with your life so far? Let us examine your mistakes and missteps shall we? We all have them, I was a policeman, I still have nightmares. Keep living friend, you just might get many more tomorrows to be a better human being, (or a nickel per negative post). So, now tell us about YOU.....Hmmm?

And after 103 long lived years Kirk Douglas has passed on! He’s lived through two World Wars, a Great Depression, fought in WWII, helped end the Hollywood Blacklist, survived a helicopter crash, survived a stroke, and lived on to be over 100. That is one hell of a long gifted life. May he rest in eternal peace. Long Live Spartacus!

Look back at him in the movie Spartacus ...he was a physically strong man, with a zest for life, full of energy and hope...here he is still standing strong - in spirit and stature, he is still full of life and hope. Funny how you were thinking about him the day before he died. The question is did you think about him everyday before he died probably not. If I could probably have thought about him for years had you in fact he probably popped up in your mind more than you conjuring him up. One day and 2012 I took an afternoon nap and I sold him ever sleep during the day but this day I slowly woke up on the couch in the middle of the afternoon sensing the presents of a very warm intelligent funny diva. I couldn't place who it was I kept thinking it was one of the spinster sister old friends of my mom's when I was a kid. I was 48 years old by this time, and whoever the lady was I knew my new more is it youth than as the adult. She was right there right beside me on the couch close up to me a vibrating presents so intense and so familiar. I suddenly recognize who it was. It was Phyllis Diller I knew it was Phyllis Diller. So woke myself completely up and say it to myself Phyllis Diller I haven't thought about her since I was 12 years old. But I had to immediately look her up because I needed to know if she was alive or dead it had been so long since I heard about her but sure enough there I saw on her Wiki that she was still alive and 95 years old. 24 hours later maybe 36 hours later I found out she had died the next day in her sleep more likely died overnight that night in his sleep I think maybe the stars do come to their fans honestly are transitioning out of their bodies they resonate with all who were enamored by them. By the way I know it sounds strange why would I be such a fan of Phyllis Diller. But you can't choose who you're appealed by but I always noticed her since I was a kid and paid attention to anything she was doing.

It takes extraordinary courage to come on stage to accept a life achievement Oscar when the effects of a debilitating stroke are evident, as was the case with Kirk Douglas. In his book, he states that he debated whether to simply say thank you when accepting the award, in order to minimize his embarrassment. However, he decided to rehearse an acceptance speech, which he executed flawlessly and with dignity. He is now 98 years old, and he can look back on a career of memorable performances, most particularly Minnelli's Lust For Life and The Bad And The Beautiful.
@MrImiller078 жыл бұрын
+BRAD PITT I remember Douglas disclosing that he had several affairs with his leading ladies in his autobiography, The Ragman's Son, however, who is Douglas alleged to have "raped"?
@realPhali8 жыл бұрын
+BRAD PITT I'm sorry, mr. Pitt, I didn't know you were a detective who worked the rape case. I assume you are, of course, as you make these accusations as they are facts? Now, here I was silly to believe they were rumours. But by all means, I'm sure you have some hard evidence there in your detective desk.
