Honestly that no joke probably has alot to do with it, if you've ever ever played with one you'd know its a strain on the mandibles, ankle, calve and knee because not only are you moving your shit in an unnatural way your weights not distributed properly.

I first saw them on Master of Puppets at Cobo Hall in Detroit in I think 86. Jason was on bass, but it was when they went from opener band to headliner. I have seen them 5 times. It’s all good. Get in there and see them. You will be quite happy. Good luck. I might catch them myself.

@@bizzle9041 that’s cool man. I saw them down by Tinley Park at some arena on the black album. I lived in Berrien County Michigan for 26 years then. I know Chicago and surrounds very well. I think the arena at the time was called the world theater or something. They change names all the time. Go get up and get a good close view if you can and have a blast.

You can see his experience kick in, he was able to deal with the knee while still keeping track of when he needed to start playing again. Metallica is Awesome and i hope Kirk is ok. 😄👍

Yeah I have experienced this type of Knee pain too by stepping wrong and I'm only 20. It hurts really bad when that happens, I hope he gets better soon!

That was a really fast cure cass from supernatural must be their doctor on tour with them, because he limped off stage comes back a minute later just fine no limp or anything.

It must be such a crappy feeling to be performing in front of masses to one of the best songs of your band, you’re putting all your soul into it and then your knee just goes “NOT THIS TIME!” and it starts messing with you while you have to keep playing. KIRK IS AWESOME! 🔥🫡

it must've popped out and gone back into place again. I remember the last time one of my knee caps hopped out of its place. you could see it sitting wrong. there was a previous time it went back into the right place. both happened because i twisted or stepped wrong.

i'm in my mid 20's and i get injuries like that and it hurts like hell. i usually crack my knee because i found out how to do it when i was a kid and it helps

I did a gig in a wheelchair one week after being impaled. Couldn't even press my own pedals but the shows gotta go on. Can't believe people are impressed by a professional muso not stopping because of a sore knee!

We are both 61 years old and I also play guitar. I don’t play live gigs anymore and actually quit playing for years.I just started playing again after having to retire early from complications of DDD,Anxiety,Depression,PTSD and I just got diagnosed with ADHD. I think he and all of them are doing pretty damn good for their age,all you young bucks think you’re invincible as did I 40-30 years ago,buckle up boys, enjoy your youth,your time is coming.Going through therapy right now mentally and physically,who knows I may start another band😂✌🏼
