Kirsten Laken is an award winning glass artist, in this 2024 short film she discusses her inspiration and passion for her glass art works. ‪@kirstenlaken‬ works in both modern and traditional styles to create unique works of art, she also teaches students at her studio in Ferny Creek Victoria . Kirsten has just recently won the "Sculpture Award" at Yering Station ‪@yeringstation2450‬Winery. @yeringstation @spiritofglass

Inspiring! It’s so difficult to capture the true nature of artists on film…sometimes the mediums just don’t connect. But not here. Just a wonderful insight. And I love the sound impact especially. Reply brings the brittle, fragile nature of glass to life.
