A COSY WEEKEND in Northumberland: Tour of our Airbnb & One of the prettiest English villages// Happy Tuesday, In today's video we're welcoming autumn with very cosy vibes! We just stayed in a gorgeous Airbnb in the most beautiful English countryside in Northumberland that we can't recommend any more highly. We give you a detailed tour of our airbnb at Swinburne Castle and think you will really love it. We also take you to the attractive town of Corbridge with its lovely shops and old buildings. Some streets look like straight out of a Charles Dickens novel. After that we're visiting Blanchland Northumberland for the very first time. It's one of the prettiest villages in the north of England and we can absolutely see why. It's a picture postcard place! We really hope you enjoy your cosy video! Kirsten & Jörg xx

I was thinking the same thing…I’m relaxed and comfortable watching him because he projects self confidence & a sense of ease. I’ve been noticing this happy change for months (a year?). I like the way Joerg carries himself when he’s focused on a shot. He’s an excellent photographer/videographer. Together they make a delightful team & fun to watch. 🌸🌿

How does this video attract any dislikes? It's two people who love the UK travelling to the North and basically making an unpaid video add for the area they travelled to. Northumbria has this rough, windswept charm and the people are so friendly and hospitable, I love visiting. Lovely video, thank you for sharing!

Ah, beautiful Northumberland where I was born and raised. The area I lived in is now Tyne and Wear since they changed some of the counties in the 70's I think. Corbridge is gorgeous and Hadrian's wall is amazing. If you go back again you must go to the east coast to check out the beautiful coastline ❤️🇬🇧

Yes, I remember when they changed the names and boundaries. "Miles and miles of golden sands, Whitley Bay, Northumberland." Definitely didn't have the same ring to it when it became, Whitley Bay,.....Tyne and Wear!! Northumberland,....the most beautiful County in England.

The little house at 10:55 really reminded me of the Dowager Countess's house on Downton Abbey. I love the cranberry red doors on the Blanchard property! Lots of goodies packed into this video. I loved the remembrances for Her Majesty. I don't think I would want to go back home. Whenever I watch you two on a cozy weekend trip, I always find I miss my husband so much. He passed in 2012 and we use to take trips like this after our three kids were grown and gone. I love these videos, but sometimes find they are a little bittersweet. Please keep making them though.

Hallo meine Lieben, Das war heute eine grosse Belohnung für mich, das hab ich heute gebraucht, denn ich bin im Stress, da am Samstag unsere Tochter kirchlich heiratet.....fragt mich nicht, bin bis über beide Ohren mit Vorbereitungen eingedeckt. The pub section of the Lord Crewe Arms with the fireplace would be right up my street, or as I say up my alley. I wonder if it has a happy hour or a less formal menu. Liebe Kirsten und Jörg, vielen Dank für das schöne Video. Da habt ihr wunderschöne Aufnahmen gemacht. Was für ein wunderbares Städtchen mit den Gebäuden. Die Tapeten und die Stoffe in eurem Zimmer würde ich auch gleich so in unserem Haus nehmen. Es hat alles bis auf das kleinste Detail zusammengepasst. Und die antiken Möbel sind ein Traum. Da habt ihr wieder etwas schönes ausgesucht. Es ist immer wieder eine Freude euch beide zu sehen und in Ruhe eure Videos anzusehen. Danke für eure Mühe🥰. Wir müssen morgen leider schon wieder das wunderbare Cornwall verlassen und Richtung Heimat fahren. Es waren wieder schöne zwei Wochen mit so netten Menschen die uns auf dem Coast path begegnet sind. I share your love of Northumberland! We’ve been the past two summers, but I’m already itching to go again!! I loved the architecture and little streets and shops in Corbridge… just gorgeous! And then Blanchland… even BETTER! Now I want to go there! The bar of Lord Crewe reminded me of the 400 year old inn where we ate in Hall in Tirol, Austria. We had schnitzel and strudel in the most perfect location… I was in love!! Those old brick walls are magical 💕

It's a lovely place and whenever we go, we really enjoy it! It's not that touristy so quite underrated but has such gorgeous places. Blanchland is amazing and the pub is gorgeous.

Oh the room wasn't really prepared and the styling not completed, it looks absolutely perfect when it's done. Really love it, the designer who makes the fabrics and wallpaper is amazing.

Good morning its 8.32am here in Melbourne ,here we are not like the rest of Australia or the rest of the world ,my husband still works from home, and now only goes in once a week to his office on a Wednesday , I have the house to myself .
