Hey everybody welcome back to the Kirsty Meakin Channel today we have in my second favourite cousin :P she has worked in the Stoke on Trent Pot-Bank’s and is something of an expert when it comes to Wedgwood Pottery so guess what we are going to be doing today!
I’ll start by cleaning over the nails with my clean up solution to remove any dust or oils from the nail then I can go in with the base coat do a thin layer of that and then cure.
I'm going to be using Jasperware as the inspiration for this set and for colours ill be using Griff for the Blue and KitKat for the Pink ill do two coats of those and then ill wipe over with the cleanup solution to remove the stickily and give that a satin finish.
Now I’m going to go over with the matte topcoat because I want these to have a matte look as close as we can get to the biscuit finish of the Jasperware we are trying to recreate.
Now I’ll go in with the Nailchemy Gel Paint and my Lily Liner Brush and I’m going to paint on the stems of the floral design then ill give that a cure and then I can wipe over with my clean up solution to remove the shine from the gel paint.
Now I can start building my 3D on top of the stem working on the outside petals first and then making my way into the centre of those forms when I get to the centre I can use a pair of tweezers to make little indentations.
Now I’ll use my Cassidy Detailer with the Nailchemy Gel Paint and I’ll use that to add a little more detail.
Then I’ll do the other nails using the same technique but doming some different patterns.
