Wow that soil looks very alive and the size of the hyphae!!! I watched a video of various people looking at home garden soil samples and yours looks way more active with various species in each slide. I add lots of molasses water to my soil and see no detriment to fungus. It may even increase it perhaps?

@@kisorganics Are you sure the microbes in that sample are aerobic? You had lots of spirilla bacteria and a few ciliates. The fungal hyphe seemed to be oomycetes which are anaerobic and likely pathogenic towards plants.

Jacob Furnish a couple ciliates on a slide is not necessarily a sign of anaerobic conditions based on my experience. The fungal hyphae is a wider diameter than oomycetes based on the reticluated eyepiece I used that shows microns.
