THIS KISS SCENE SHOULD'VE WON AN AWARD.... omg i cant get over the lingering feelings toward these kisses.... i-im... my heart like literally burst out. this is so intense, full of complicated emotions, those stares... those expressions... those eyes... Jo Jungsuk is a brilliant actor. i can feel his confusion, desire, frustration, lustful, and realization only by his eyes, thats amazing. idk how many times i tortured the replay button. i really really love these kisses. you can really feel it, how the King feel surprised by her kiss, he's surprised of what just happened, but he also confused why he felt so fluttered inside. he also cant believe she kiss him as that's the last wish she wants. He never been in love before, he didn't know that he's already in love with her THAT deeply. he never felt that way toward any other woman who tried to sleep with him. in that confusion he tries to kiss her again and then realized he loves her so much and he wants it more... so he does it more... i expressed alot along with them as well, from surprised, happy, touched, sad, and fluttered.... like whole animal kingdom are dancing inside me🥹♥️

조정석 연기가 진짜 미친 것 같음. 합방하는데 내내 곤두서있던 신경이 몽우만 보면 사그라드는 것도 너무 잘 대비되고..애타게 찾던 몽우 술 먹고 뻗은 거 보고는 걱정하던 마음+무사해서 다행인 마음+애타게 찾느라 원망스러운 마음 그냥 짧은 표정 호흡 하나에 다 느껴진다. 그리고 화룡점정 클라이막스 엔딩은 말뭐...거짓이 있어서는 안된다고 몽우와 약조도 했으니 이제 좀 믿어 보려 했는데 숨기고 있던 거짓이 들통났을 때,,,그 믿어 보려고 했던 것에 대한 배신감+분노+그러나 여자인 것에 대한 안도감+넋 놓고 몽우한테 빨려 들어가다가 아차 싶은 마음+그래도 본능적으로 끌리는 연모의 감정... 조정석 이 드라마로 상 좀 줘 제발

그리고 한 번도 몽우의 마음을 직접 들어본 적이 없기에... 내가 좋으냐고 했던 질문에도 그저 침묵으로 일관하던 몽우가 생사의 갈림길에서 입맞춤으로 직접 밝힌 마음...ㅜㅜ 겉으론 아닌척 했어도 진짜 남색일까 싶어 혼란스러워 하던 이인,,나와 같은 마음이라는 것에 안도하고 좋으면서도 여자라는 사실도, 몽우의 마음도 아직 한꺼번에 휘몰아쳐 받아들이기 어려운 복잡한 심경...진짜 죽고싶다 좋아서

This is the most intense first kiss i have ever seen in a Korean drama and ive been watching K-dramas for the past 20 years even though im not Korean. Hands down the best kiss scene ever!! All the heavy emotions were flawlessly portrayed by both the male lead and female lead.

Agree! Never had to replay it over and over and over again ...and every time, feels fresh and alive. The King is an exceptional actor, we can feel every passionate, sincere, lustful, loving, heavenly, sensual and desire in this one scene. Smoking HOT 🔥. ..and man, did I lose control from just watching it, literally 😂

와 진짜 조정석ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ원래 연기 잘하는건 알았는데 이렇게까지 잘한다고? 여자라서 처음에 충격 당황 -> 끝까지 거짓말해서 밉다 미워어어 아아니 먼저 입맞춤해서 더 당황하다가 그냥 감정적으로 사랑하니 자동으로 몸이 반응-> 바로 직전 동상궁은 절대 안되던게 본능적으로 직진해버리는 스스로에게 깜짝 놀라면서도 여자라서 안도+이래도 되나 아니 뭐어때 몽우도 나 좋다는데 그래서 내가 이 아일 처음 만날때부터 사랑했구나 뭐 이런 복잡미묘슬픈감정들을 저 몇컷에 눈빛으로 다 녹이고 설득해버림.. 워낙 눈 커서 강렬한거 잘 하는거 알고있었음에도; 오우 이번 8화 엔딩 조정석 연기는 인생작 필모에 들어가겠어..

This is the best drama of 2024 and perhaps of all dramas! It's up in the top 5 best dramas of all times. The actors are slaying their roles! and the King- wow. His facial expressions convey exactly what he's feeling and thinking- no need for dialogue. Loving it! TVN produces the best dramas!

사실 전개가 극적이고 기승전결이 너무 뚜렷하는 자극적인 옛날 드라마 보다가 이거보면 그 분위기랑 연출이랑 그 아지랑이 피고 가슴이 몽글몽글해지는 잔잔한 호수 보는 느낌이라 더 애착가는 드라마인듯

복수한다고햇으면서 왜키스하는지 이해안되는분들 잇는데 희수가 이인 초반부터 되게 좋아했어요 그러다 이인에게 배신당해서 복수한다고 궁에들어옴 근데 머리로는 복수해야한다고 하지만 마음은 아직못끊어냈고 자꾸 흔들리는 모습을 보임(애증의마음) 그래서 오늘 기생과 술먹는 장면에서 마음은 어찌끊어내는것이냐고 조언을 구하는데 기생이 “마음가는대로 갈때까지가봐라”라고 말을함. 연모하는마음이 얼마나 허망한 것인지 깨닫게된디고. 마지막소원으로 키스해본거죠 마음가는대로

I watched till ep 3 … then backtrack to his earlier works in which I saw how JJS shone thru in his earlier works too. In this drama, the plot in initial part was a bit slow paced. There was so much emphasis on the Kim minister of war character and he just dropped dead at the drop of a hat. I got a bit bored into 4-6 ep. Got a bit draggy. Maybe cuz I’m not exactly a big fan of kdramas. I have to plough thru a lotta dramas to get a good one. Most of the time I give up after 2 ep.

No hablo coreano; pero esta escena es maravillosa. Sigo mucho los kdramas, sobre todo los históricos, y me sorprende la química extraordinaria de estos dos personajes. El rey habla con los ojos. Parece que en esta escena tiene el cerebro en cortocircuito por un montón de ideas encontradas. Parece estar entre la ira y la sorpresa, entre la atracción y el miedo, hasta sus parpadeos tienen un significado. Y los besos de ambos derriten el celuloide de lo reales y sentidos que lucen. El rey primero parece probar los labios de Mong Woo con el corazón desbocado y con miedo, y luego se conmueve ante el estallido de su amor y sella el nuevo y tierno beso con una lágrima. Creo que la escena está muy bien escrita y cuidada. Felicitaciones a los actores, escritores y equipo técnico por rodar esta belleza.

1:57 질투의 화신 때부터 조정석 연기 본 사람들이라면 알겠지만 조정석이 키스할 때 특유의 시선처리가 있음.. 키스 직전 입술을 몇 번이고 응시하고 올라오는 그 눈.. 그게 존나 미치게 섹시한데 여기서는 이 상황이 믿기지 않는다는 눈물까지 고여서 그게.. 그게.. 하 그냥 누가 나좀 기절시켜줬으면 제발 이인 전하 분명 도화살있다고
