Everything was going great until Peter fell over his drum kit at the end of the song, which I believe was left in intentionally. To discredit him.

Gene wrote this song. It comes from his heart and soul. Peter's best songs "Black Diamond", "Mainline, "Hard Luck Woman" come from Paul's heart and soul! Immigrants from foreign cultures want to be loved too. They gave their❤ and soul for KISS 💋

Looking back on their career, I really appreciate what every member brough to Kiss (Even VInnie Vincent). It's a shame with Peter and Ace, I really feel that they got screwed over hard by corporate greed. Ace could play Kiss songs better than any of their guitarists, drunk as hell or not.

I appreciate everyone in KISS too. But "screwed over"? No. Peter himself mentioned in old interviews, when he left, his lawyers. Who would negotiate about millions without lawyers and attorneys?

He couldn't sleep at night, because he never knew if he could count on Ace. Ace agreed, then disagreed. He played a game. It was like sabotage for the band. That's why it's not plausible to me: How can Ace be "screwed over" when he had lawyers all the time? Why didn't he fire his lawyers? Did he pay their bills at all? He seems to have a tendency to a paranoid way of thinking. He blames Paul and Gene, they are all about money. Because he wants to hide his own "greedyness". He seems to play with people's sympathy. (Ex)-addicts like to victimize themselves. But Ace is Ace We all love the guy.

Not in general. I heard his solo concert 1994 in Chicago. He rocked. But "Detroit Rock City"? "Strutter"? Or "She". Not my taste.

@@jackplace5665 It's not always about the singer. Paul's "God Of Thunder" is amazing. But Bob Ezrin gave the song to Gene. Because of his persona/character. Paul agreed, he trusted Bob's vision and authority. And Gene and his Avatar will forever be the "God of Thunder". Although Paul is one of the greatest Rocksingers.

@@jackplace5665 Who made "New York Groove" a big hit? Was it the original singer Bob Bradbury? The guy who really could sing. Or was it Ace? Who couldn't sing, as everybody knows. You wrote: "Peter was the best....". And I'm trying to explain to you: This is subjective. Peter never could have made "Detroit Rock City" or "Strutter" great. Paul couldn't have made "God of Thunder" great. And so on. KISS were envied for their four lead singers. They were all four pretty great singers in their own right. A band rich in talents.
