Eric Carr was not just a GREAT drummer, but could play guitar, bass and keyboards! He was also a songwriter! But Paul and Gene didn't give a darn about anybody else's songwriting skills but their own. Eric was an artist as well. He came up with cartoon/comic book like group of big haired musicians called the Rockheads. Eric Carr was a truly multi-talented, multi-faceted individual . More so than either of the other 2 drummers for KISS, Peter Criss and Eric Singer. That's why Paul Charles Caravello(Eric Carr) was hands-down the ABSOLUTE BEST MOST INCREDIBLE DRUMMER KISS EVER HAD!!! F-CK YOU PAUL AND GENE!!!!

I mean, just LOOK at those amazingly deep, deep backbends Paul does throughout this video!!! The video was shot in 1987. No wonder he had to have hip-replacement surgeries at age 52 in 2004! Such a well-trained body, but he puts an awful lot of pressure on his hips. And just think how many takes he had to do in the making of the music video!!! And he did those same backbends on tours as well. I truly admire him, such dedication to Kiss, making lyrics, music (with a deaf right ear!), pushing Gene to take more part in the band, taking care of not only his physique but also his singing voice, not lip-syncing during live performances, having a very positive, resilient outlook on life, giving very good life advice in his books and on his Instagram, finding long-lasting happiness with Erin, having lovely children, his oldest son Evan making his own music... Plus Paul Stanley is such a hottie!!!

Out of love, there's nobody around All I hear is the sound of a broken heart Out of time, no more waitin' for you Now the hurtin's through, and a new day starts And I feel a change in my life I sailed into dark and endless nights And made it alive Everybody's got a reason to live, baby Everybody's got a dream and a hunger inside Everybody's got a reason to live, but it can't be your love Out of touch, with myself for so long Now a feeling so strong's comin' over me Down the line, there's a lesson I've learned You can love and get burned, if it has to be And I see a change in my life And I'm not alone when I'm strong inside And I realize Everybody's got a reason to live, baby Everybody's got a dream and a hunger inside Everybody's got a reason to live, but it can't be your love And I feel a change in my life And I'm not alone when I'm strong inside And I realize Everybody's got a reason to live, baby Everybody's got a dream and a hunger inside Everybody's got a reason to live, but it can't be your love Everybody's got a reason to live, baby Everybody's got a dream and a hunger inside Everybody's got a reason to live, but it can't be your love No, it can't be your love No, it can't be your love No, it can't be your love

REASON TO LIVE Possibly Kiss's best song ever. An under-appreciated, underrated classic. If it had Springsteen's name on it critics would have raved!!
@small_fries75732 жыл бұрын
Have you ever wondered where your soul goes after this life? We are sinners despite any tiny sins we commit like lying, bad thoughts, or cussing. It doesn't even matter how many good deeds we do because one little sin is bad enough already. We cannot make it up to heaven on our own will. Our God, Jesus Christ, decided to come down to Earth as a SINLESS human and sacrificed His life for our sins. Then He resurrected three days later! Therefore if you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Savior, you'll definitely have eternal life. Your existence is proof that God is real. Consider this: A creation like you have a Creator. Only in the Bible does it mention that God is the Creator of mankind. God is the only one who can create your body, your organs, your features, your blood, and fingerprints. That is why nobody has the same finger prints nor DNA as you. YOU ARE UNIQUE THANKS TO OUR GOD, JESUS CHRIST! Have a great day!

This song should have been a big hit. It suffered from timing, as the album came out after GnR's Appetite For Destruction, which started taking rock back to a more raw, unprocessed vibe. Paul was at the peak of his vocal abilities here and Bruce's solos on the Crazy Nights album are to die for -- just so tasteful and in the front of the mix. This may have been my favorite lineup of KISS -- at least, musically. Just at the top of their game, with incredible, energetic live shows as well. What a fantastic era for them -- often doesn't get enough credit.

I liked your post but this song didn't just suffer from timing, it also suffered from being a derivative clone of Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love Is" and.... the fact that it was a song from Kiss, which, smartly, radio refuses to play. For all their massive popularity and incredible music, most of which I love, they've rightfully earned their matinee status on the billboard. I love Kiss, but I more than understand that they are first and foremost a gimmick and a chameleon, not a band.

Paul at his vocal best, a great reminder Kiss were an awesome hair band and the unmasked era spawned some of their best songs. Strip away the makeup sideshow and Kiss was good to the bone.
I love the 70s kiss more but that doesn’t mean I don’t like hair band era kiss. I actually prefer some of their songs and albums more than some big hair metal bands at the time.

[Verse 1] Out of love, there's nobody around All I hear is the sound of a broken heart Out of time, no more waiting for you Now the hurting is through, and a new day starts And I feel a change in my life I sailed into dark and endless nights And made it alive [Chorus] Everybody's got a reason to live, baby Everybody's got a dream and a hunger inside Everybody's got a reason to live, but it can't be your love [Verse 2] Out of touch, with myself for so long Now a feelin' so strong coming over me Down the line, there's a lesson I've learned You can love and get burned, if it has to be And I see a change in my life And I'm not alone when I'm strong inside And I realize [Chorus] [Bridge] And I feel a change in my life And I'm not alone when I'm strong inside and I realize [Chorus][x2] [Outro] No it can't be your love, no it can't be your love No it can't be your love

Absolutely right. It was right in there in 1987 with that defining MTV sound especially Kulick's guitar sound. Just a great album from a great music year.

yes it was, appetite, girls, this one, permanent vacation, as so on. Somebody said to me last night that the last great year of music was '76, after I stopped laughing for bout an hour I had to fill them in on some of the greatest albums in history, and yes, crazy nights is poppy but, fuck it, It sounds good and it will never be again, so why hate on it?

It's easy to forget how good this group actually was musically because of the painted face and costume gimmick they're known for. It's the main thing that people bring up when talking about them. But when you hear the stuff that they were creating during their "unmasked" era you remember just how good they actually are. Damn good music yo.
@small_fries75732 жыл бұрын
