the look in his eyes at the beginning and the way he's playing this song just makes me think he wrote this song about something painful that has happened in his life.

I enjoy watching him play because his facial expressions move along with the melodies, as if he is actually speaking whatever unspoken words are tied together with those notes.

I remember hearing this song like a long time ago. My ex broke up with me in person on a rainy day for no good reason, he just told me he's tired of me now and wants to date someone else. And it started raining harder and I just ran away feeling heart broken. When I got home, I listened to Kiss the rain to calm myself down and it helps! I'm glad I forgot all about my ex and started a fresh new start. :) God bless Yiruma

I have never seen music expressed in such totality...Beautiful melodies, beautiful touches on the piano, beautiful scenery...and, most moving of all, unspeakable facial expressions. He doesn't just play music, he becomes the music himself.

Today, my lovely grandmother passed away. She lived to be 95 years old. I’m very sad to know the news. Now, I will go pre-funeral today’s night and have funeral tomorrow. Rest In Peace like this song.

When i was young, i heard this melody but i didn’t know the name of it. Then i knew it by a friend. I usually listen it when i’m sad or miss my family. It’s a amazing melody, i really admire his talent ❤️

This is my first time to see Yiruma live on a you tube and playing Kiss the Rain. I am a piano teacher but I have not played this song. I had 2 students who played Kiss the Rain and one will be graduating from college this spring. The other one will be graduating from high school or maybe it was his older sister who finished it before. It is great to watch Yiruma's expression in his eyes when closed and his eyebrows. It is beautiful!! Also, many of my students have played River Flows in You at my recitals , the easy version and a few played the original version. You are so gifted !!!!!
