I think one thing I found interesting was the main villains of the story all acted out of fear as the post of malice.

i’ve seen this anime well over 100 times and i never stop finding small details and as my life moves forward i keep unlocking the meaning behind the words of all the characters. all time favorite hands down. hope you get to check out the movie version of the final fight it’s like twice as epic

You have reached one of the moments of anime peak. Unfortunately Gurren Lagann was also one of the last hurrahs of the mecha Genre before it went it a minor hibernation compared to other genres. Also Gurren Lagann is just so good that it is difficult for another super mecha show to pass it. How would you actually beat a show with characters and story arcs that hit these emotional high points, while the final battle involves fighting on the field of galaxies? Im a bit sad the algorithm hasn't blessed you during this reaction but glad I caught it.

You're right, life does go on and we need to make use of every second.... This really hit directly on the heart strings, but that proves to show that how much it impacted us and that, it has left a print on our hearts like kamina did on team gurren..... Simon, could have brought back the dead but it would lead to more conflicts, more wars, more destruction and the value of life or death would be lost, and so would be sacrifices of those who pushed others forward without them being lost in that moment. And, Simon would probably have become a god and some entity like anti-spiral and it will cause the calamity to arrive earlier. The ending was a shocker, and we will always treasure the lessons and the sacrifices. Simon, didn't battle for Nia or kamina, he battled and fought for all of humanity and all of the universe.... And this is just the starting of few years since humanity came to the surface there will be more heroes and villains like anti-spiral around the corner but, they will be felt with the future generations taking lessons from the past.
