I use modeling clay for the holes and crevices and then finish with a little water to make it smooth. It works very well. Or you can also use Puddy of course. The space boat looks cool.👍We old Guys huh !...😅🙂

Just remember, even the ILM modelers used a few off-the-shelf models from the earlier Star Wars movies to help kitbash for new ships. 😉

It's obviously a Smuggler's "Runabout" (size of cockpit), and the Wings are where the thionite bags are hidden! Along with Melange. (Get the references?) May the Empire never catch you, and may the Force be with you!

What about painting clear plastic windows with a matt black on the inside, and then masking the outside at the start of painting process and then demasking at the start of weathering? Or with the same color as your green screen maybe with some waterslide transfers with with some reference marks.

Do you ever use a heat gun or heat source to hold close to the Nail Polish Windows and flatten and smooth the paint?

There's no shame in using the Star Wars pieces. Even the Nostromo from Alien (1979) had pieces from Star Wars kits because the model builders for the shooting miniature raided various hobby shops parts bins and there were tons of Star Wars kit parts that was in them (namely R2 model kits and TIE Fighter parts).

Super glues weaker than plastic goue in models u use it when u mqy need rip aprt back off but it also more ugly as leaves seams but then again if u mess up with plastic glue you leaves this acidy burn like look
