I am an elderly lady in the UK and a scammer saying he was from Inland revenue told me that they were sending a policeman around to arrest me unless I paid an outstanding debt to them over the phone. I was so stupid that I believed him but didn’t pay. I called my son who dealt with them when they called back. My son then made me watch all your videos to understand what a scammer is. Ive told all my friends to follow you on the you tube so that they understand what scammers are.

The refund scam is the worst scam I can think of because, by design, it only targets those with good morals. If someone wasn't that honest, they would just hang up with the fake money. The victims of this scam are those who are just genuinely kind, which is so sad.

My favourite lady is so excited when I call her to tell her the schedule of her carer, just so she can chat with someone for a bit. The issue here is these illegal call centers pay lots of bribes to the local police and gov't officials. Also when they go to court they will pay huge sums to the judges, make sure to follow up on all the cases !! And publicize as much as you can include the higher up officials so they are held accountable !!

My old Dad, at 85 years old and suffering from Parkinsons disease was conned out of his £4500 pension savings in a telephone scam when the "Court Bailiffs" became aggressive and threatened to pay a visit and remove his property.
