Can I ask a question? What is the most efficient way or tips to kite (to get a time advantage)? I mean, the most obvious one is walking in the direction that the jungler is pathing. But there are many more kiting secret tips, so what are they? Do I really need to auto-cancel at each auto with right-click? The problem with this is that it takes a lot of timing precision (and it takes so much mental energy) (basically it's boring to do and wastes my precious time), wouldn't you agree? Instead of wasting mental effort on timing precision, I much rather want to focus on jungle tracking, lane state tracking (abilities used, wave management), etc. Anymore advanced kiting tips?

@@Elephanthobo cant agree on it, i hate to play jungle not bcs of pulling it to maximum . But when I see ally take my camps while they literally suck and the drag me down leading to throwing it. There is pusnihment for funnel but not vice versa, and it keeps happening over and over again making me not play jungle. 3 days ago i had game where literally 50% of my camps was taken by my team second thing that make people not play it is how people expect jugnlers to 1v5 games. And im not even jungle main

@@Elephanthobo i mean, if you're not pathing or kyting correctly, you're not playing it right, meaning it's normal you're not having success with the role. I don't get what's unhealthy about someone playing wrong having bad results. Are you saying that someone playing wrong should have good results ? How would that be healthy for the game ? Or are you maybe saying that pathing and kyting shouldn't be what makes a good jungle ? I don't think it's a bad thing, and at the very least I see no reason that would be unhealthy for the game.

@@Elephanthobo imagine if laners didn't have to last hit minions for that exact reason. you can't just make a role completely braindead because people playing it wrong don't get success. pathing is a MAJOR skill ceiling for low-elo junglers, as efficient pathing is the bare minimum required to climb. just removing that to make it easier for them invalidates better jungler's dedication to improve.

It's only important in the first clear, less important in second, and then it doesn't really matter since you can one shot camps at this point.

@@aohjii That's not the reason why... Chinese and Koreans literally spend twice as much time to play League. Doing a camp slightly faster could be one of the reasons, but that's just a drop in the ocean, there's so much more going on than just that.

I think it might be faster on certain camps

Depends on attack speed right? Maybe for Yi but I don't think it's the same on someone like Karthus or fiddlesticks.

It meant nothing on clear speed in the golem example. In both he smites and immediately q. Whether he kills large or small after that effects HP, not clear time.

Thanks that's what I was thinking. Now I'm wondering though does kiting really make that much of a difference because sometimes I genuienely don't see the point. If I know Im gonna finish gromp in time for him to heal precisely the amount of damage he dealt and getting me back to full health, is it really needed? That kind of situations

well especially raptors and golems, because they are slow and are numerous, so if you do one auto and kite back ennemies will collide and only one will hit you back. This is mitigated on wolves because they are fast, and it is straight up almost useless against solo camps because they hit you back regardless (except if you have a ranged champion like lilia)

@@neodymus except kayn in blue buff, if he have a red buff he can kite the blue buff without getting hit. I could do that before (2 or more seasons ago) but I dunno about now. I think kayn have a longer range than most melee even if he's a melee range too.

@@skzstyle The idea is that a small lead in the early points of a match can have a big effect on the mid and late game. Probably the most notable example would be getting an early kill on your lane opponent. This both gets you gold from killing them, and loses them gold and exp from not being in lane. That lead gets you your first item and next level faster than them, which in turn makes killing them again easier. In some cases, this can effectively remove an opponent from the game because they'll never catch up to the difference in levels and gold. The origin of the term is that a snowball rolling down a hill gets bigger over time, or in game terms a small lead turns into a larger one as the game goes on.

Faster clear is definitely more important than taking 1 less hit from the camp.

The difference is mostly in multicamps cause as every Monster wants to go first they slow each other to a point where a few actually land their hits

Because he kited red wrong here, you shouldnt trade autos 1 for 1, u tank two hites then kite, it saves like 3 aa's on you and its also a bit faster

Kiting is still faster, just not as significantly anymore. However it does make a huge HP difference

Why? Pbe is the same thing with lag, its already proven that kiting is better, the only thing is gonna be diferent is the hp from new jungle item

Also the little smite guy won't attack if you're kiting

You can practice the kiting range on practice tool. That's how I did it.

i'd say kitting blue and red will definetly save a lot of HP, there is a lot of space to play around and they are slow Gromp can definitly be kited since you most likely have more range than him (except if you play Lilia :x ) but there is little space to play around so it does not save that much The other camps are as important to kite as it is for melee charachters, because enemies collide between each other so only one of them can hit you back at the same time, and i say as important as melee charachter because you can't take advantage of your range since there is little room to play with (golems) or camps are fast (wolves and Raptors)

10s and 100hp is actually a major difference

Would have been a much bigger difference if they didn't double gromp and blue. That takes more than a little kiting. It does show a more fair comparison in a way but there should he a 20 second plus difference since dual clearing requires kiting.
