Stunning video. I’ve noticed that horses and barn cats have an affinity for each other. I knew one horse who would regularly cross his paddock to say 'hi' when his favorite cat jumped up on the fence

This is wonderful!! I'm curious how Lamu Animal Welfare Clinic is funded outside of public donations. Being an isolated island, I imagine donations are limited (until now with your video bringing awareness ❤). And thank goodness for Veternarian Peterson for helping the island's overpopulation problem. 👏👏

My husband and I visited Lamu 15 years ago and it was not as well known to tourists at the time! Not only do they care for cats but they had a lovely Donkey Sanctuary! They believed that donkeys worked hard and deserved vacation time. Lovely people...

I bought that book for my mother in the 90s. We had been to Mombasa, but not Lamu. The Mombasa cats were long, thin and very "ancient Egypt" looking. No one seemed to own them, but that's probably true for most cats around the world. As in Lamu, they were fed fishermen's scraps, thus keeping the place clean.😺

My husband took me to his home in Istanbul and the thing that shocked me most was there were cats on the loose everywhere. It was so precious though, because it was the winter all businesses and restaurants let them inside. I sat across from a cat in a fine dining restaurant, while my husband was in the bathroom. They also let them hang out in H&M to stay warm

Hi I love your channel. I was wondering if I could bother you with a question my cat just had four babies 2 weeks ago and she has so many spots for them but only will keep them under our bed . What worries us though is the kittens want to be socal but momma won't let it happen for more the 5 mins at a time. Is this okay and will there be a time when she'll let them out on her own? Sorry to ask on this video we are just so lost on all this but trust your opinions 100%.
@Stirchley1951
@Stirchley1951 Жыл бұрын
Hannah never answers questions. I would guess your cat is a first-time mother & is being over-protective. (Much better than a mother cat who ignores her babies.) I would let momma cat be & everything will work out fine. Do you have a dog in the house? If so, momma may be leery of the dog coming close to her babies. I wouldn’t worry, momma cat knows what she’s doing.
