Love the giant stripy ship mooring points on the quayside and when you get around the corner and we see the Wightlink ferry up close, it is understandable why these need to be so, so massive - WOW! Love the ships figure head art work on the quayside. Fantastic lamp posts, the tall sailing ships in the harbour, the cobbles and stone paving slab and that sea wall is simply huge. Brexit Party car and passer-by's comment made me laugh. Remember when this was all we had to worry about? I note for most of the video you appear to be following a line in the pavement, but you loose it when you crossed the road and later pick it up again only to loose it again towards the end of the walk. Reminds me of following the 'green line' on visits to the hospital years ago. Assume this line is to help tourists - and an idea we should see more frequently used in towns and I'm thinking for 'above' pedestrian transfers between London underground stations perhaps if they don't already. Does this line take disembarked ferry passengers to the sea front/Southsea town or does it specifically 'link' to a railway station or Hoverport maybe? Love your little films - thank you. xxx

Gunwharf Quays used to be a Royal Navy Shore Base (HMS Vernon) so some of the artifacts and figureheads are from those times. Hence the crane and torpedo among other things. The brick line is called the Millenium Walk. It doesn't get lost as such as the header bricks are still embossed with the chain link symbol. The walk goes from Gunwharf, through the development at 13:00 (used to be Vospers Shipyard) then round to the Sally Point and Spice Island. The stones stop at 21:00 at Long Curtain Lane which is coincidentally the place where Nelson took his last steps on English soil...
