hehe yeah im not feeling the groovy font which is why im not involved with the groovy text trend. :( is there anything else trending? lol I love what you said in stroke on text. I often do that also .. I add texture to some of my work. Is this a good thing? or a bad thing? for example, I wouldnt want a customer to buy something because the texture seemed realistic but really its not, it just looks like that

In terms of texture, it truly depends on use-case and necessity! Make sure it matches the brief for what you need to accomplish. :)

I couldnt think of an example when i posted my comment. But I remember now that I saw someone on Etsy selling an ornament of a wooden bookshelf. It really did look very realistic and it was so cool which is why i love graphic design. Unfortunately for that seller, the customer was not impressed and felt 'tricked' into buying a product that she thought was a realistic bookshelf lol. So, its kind of a good and bad thing I guess@@Kittldesign

For the cutout text effect mentioned at 5:33, is there an actual way to create a cutout? I am currently using Kittl to create T-Shirt designs and have been looking for this answer online, but have been unsuccessful. Ideally, I would like the outline around the text to be a void, so that when the text is printed, that blank space is the T-Shirt color. @kittldesign
