Today we say goodbye to our VOKRA foster cat Cate as she heads off to her forever home. Cate was a great mum to her 6 kittens, patient, loving, dedicated and this footage from when the kittens were about 7 weeks old really shows the great rapport she had with them.
We wish Cate and her new cat butler Shaun a great life together and we would like to once again thank the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Assoc. (VOKRA, see link below) for bringing Cate and her 6 beautiful kittens into our lives.
Goodbye sweet Cate, we will always love you.

All of my cats were climbing all over the place trying to find the kittens. The audio drove them a little crazy.

My kitty Chanelle has always been a talkative cat, but with that litter of kittens she had 14 years ago, she did such a vast range of sounds we never heard again after the kittens were gone to their families. It sounded like some sort of speech that she had only for her kittens. That was very special.

On days when the news cycle is grim, or nights when I'm having trouble sleeping, I revisit this video. There's so much love and sweetness packed into two minutes that it just brightens my mood, calms my thoughts, and reminds me to cherish the very little things in life. Thanks so much for uploading this video and so many more cuz they really are wonderful reminders of how much cuteness there is in the world.

i use to listen to my cat with her kitties. just take a seat and just watch them. mummy would cuddle with me and the kitties would play with me. it would give mummy some rest time before the next feeding. i miss my cats.

Kitty Cate, a great name. She is loving. I like when you said her new cat butler Shaun; my own cat allowed me to became his butler when he walked into my hotel room one night. That was eight and a half years ago.

Here's to Cate with so much grace, tenacity and love in her. She is unforgettable in my book. I wish Cate and Shaun a happy life together. She is a rare cat and will be a source of joy and inspiration to him with her gentleness. I know you will miss her and so too will those of us who came to love her through your videos. She will miss her kitties and human family too so it might be hard on her at first but with patience and tenderness she will adapt to her new life. Thank you for sharing her.

Quite the convo they were having there; so sweet. The voice that a Mom cat uses to her babies is always touching to me; so soft and sweet, almost like a murmur. Of course, they in return are loud and obnoxious.
