We take you on an exciting, varied trail in the Kitzbüheler Alpen for a challenging hike - breathtaking views of mountain panoramas GUARANTEED!
We start at the Kitzbüheler Horn at almost 2,000 meters which can be reached riding up the alpine road or with one of the cable cars (Kitzbüheler Hornbahn and the Horngipfelbahn). The tour is called “Horn Summit Höhenweg” and has 3 main passages to walk in around 3,5 hours. In Summer you will pass a lot of cows hanging out right along the path. WARNING - “angry” cows may attack just like you see at 12:05!
The way up is quite steep and challenging but the view is worth this challenging hike.

Oh, that was funny at the beginning, with the cow chasing you! They are big! Wow, what stunning mountains, especially the big, blocky range in the distance. The Serpentine trail looks amazing, and perhaps a bit scary! Looks like a little weather came at the end, which had a nice effect too!

Ja, wenn man den Kühen zu nah kommt und, dass auch noch ohne sie zu fragen , ja dann heißte es nur noch weg :-)) Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend schön. Die Sicht hinüber zum Wilden Kaiser ist schön. Der Serpentinen-Weg ist nicht so ganz einfach, aber die Aussicht ist super! Danke für den Trip auf das Kitzbüheler Horn! Schönes Wochenende !!

"Tragic and Comic". My gosh! Fantastic hike!! Like in Star Trek: " where no man has gone before". Do you remember? I suppose you have reached your limit, climbing that mountain through those strait paths. This was the "tragic part"; the "comic part" was what happened between you and the cow. I could hear your laugh. It was a very funny situation. I will repeat that scene. Nice job Austrian friend! Good Saturday!!!

hi yes i the hike was a bit long and especially it was very hot so high on the mountain the sun is even stronger. Yes I was a bit surprised I just wanted to go all the way to the front and did not expect that the cow feels disturbed by it but fortunately nothing happened. I wish you a beautiful and successful week my friend 🙂

Vielen vielen Dank liebe Sylvia 🙂 hahaha 😅 Im Gegenteil die Kuh fühlte sich eher belästigt von mir aber zum Glück ist nichts passiert..... Ich kenne die meisten Wege noch von früher als ich noch sehr viel in Bergen unterwegs war und manchmal suche ich mir die Wege im Internet und vieles ergibt sich auch einfach 😉 Ich bin absolut nicht romantisch 😅😅 Ich wünsche dir einen schönen Abend LG 🙌🏻

Es gibt ein Haus auf einem hohen Berg und es gibt Kühe. Ich war überrascht. Ich möchte den ganzen Tag hier auf der Bank sitzen.
