Getting our tractors front axle out to be fixed. Swinging a gate on a new track and mustering ewes with Georgia.

Great video Alastair hi them gates look very light compared to the ones we have in Ireland I would think if a bull or a cow wanted to they would walk right threw them 👌

yea they are light. The trick is to keep them from rubbing on them. We do have a few bent gates around the farm tho.

Could you not get a machine shop to make you a new axle pin? can't imagine it would be more than a few hundred??? Excavator pins are not huge money and would just need turning down to size. Just a thought that might save you a heap of cash.....

Great views. What salt block do you favour. I ended up buying 2 the other day, some didn’t have something, the other did. Is there a certain time of year for a particular one?

One with copper is good this time of the year and through winter. Copper for their feer

Summit Multimineral Salt Block 20kg are the ones we use. This has Cu, Zn, Co, I and Se in it so its great for a general purpose all year round block.

Haha, it's not too bad. I grew up on hills so have been doing this stuff all my life.

That's not steep,steep is when you need a safety harness attached to the fence. Steep is when you carry or your horse carries your posts and wire etc and you dig every post in. Steep is when it's to steep for tractors etc.Been there done that.
