Kixkillradio is a photographer and anime figure collector. She creates a picture that tells a story through her figures/dolls/toys. always interesting to see how someone personalises a kit - I like what you've done. I also bought this kit a year ago and personalised it, kept 50% and changed 50%, writing up about it in my art blog. I really like how you used tubing to make the paint jars - I remember that rolling the paper from the kit was very fiddly! Thanks for sharing.

Ahhh I customized this one too! It was the first kit I customized! Mines all purple, pink, and teal and I put a bunch of manga and pop surrealist art in mine. Your stuff has such an awesome style to it!

Just a bit late watching this... Ah well. I really like how you've finished this one. For me, the original looks too crowded and full to be a comfortably, usable art or craft room, so it makes me happy to see it without everything stuffed in. I bought this kit a few years ago and never put it together (because life happened and prevented it). It's buried somewhere here in my craft room... and I'm able now to dig it out and work on it. I've learned a few new craft skills the last couple of years that will fit with this one quite nicely... so I'll be bringing those tools and techniques with me to dollhouse kit building. Helpful Hints: - Using "red line tape" instead of glue when putting in plastic/acrylic will hold it better and you'll never have glue in the wrong place. - Make "frosted glass" with Mod Podge. If you want "stained glass" colour the Mod Podge with a tiny bit of acrylic paint. Just spread the Mod Podge onto the plastic/acrylic with a toothpick. For "stained glass" use a Sharpie (black fine tip) to draw your design on the back side before putting your colours into place (also on the back side).
