I bought one for me at YesStyle last month, can't wait to get my hands on it. It seems so great! I love how they mixed vitamin C and niacinamide because my skin responds really well to that mix

A great and extremely priceworthy alternative to these serums is the Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule from Skin 1004. It has the same vitamin C derivative, plus tranexamic acid and no sensitizing ingredients whatsoever!

@@KellyDriscoll It would be interesting to hear your opinion on how it compares to other brightening serums! My skin has not been able to handle pure vitamin C at all (not even down to 8%). I looked towards Klair's alternatives for a while, but have avoided them because of essential oils and what not.

I didn’t give in to the rave before and tried a lot if vitamin c derivatives but when my skin had a lot of probs (acne, marks,dullnes etc) I decided finally to buy this product and I regret why I didn’t do it before because it removed my acne, lightens my hyperpigmentation and gave me a good even skin finally.. now Im on my third bottle.. I just wished I believed the hype before 😊

My skin has such a hard time with vitamin C. So far only derivatives haven't caused irritation. Kelly, have you looked into more ginseng products lately? I've been curious about the essence Gothamista collaborated to make.

Have you talked about cosrx vitamin c? Some korean skincare are not available in my country like purito and by wishtrend, but cosrx is common here. Yesstyle is not an option cause i need to pay tax for overseas purchase which is sometimes more than the price of the good itself

I'm kinda sad because Dear Klairs used to excite me so much, and now... most of their releases are boring or don't work for my skin. This + their sunscreen reformulation were very underwhelming IMO. Anyway, love the idea of revisiting old reviews!

Blah blah blah the original vitamin C works absolutely amazing. The biggest complaint that I got about it was oxidization keep it somewhere dark and somewhere cool the product is not meant to last a lifetime no vitamin C is. They are meant to be used in a short timeframe. If oxidization is a problem, transfer it to a dark bottle with the product works and I can’t wait to share my journey on my acne skin. And I get it it’s not for everyone.

Is hyperpigmentation the same as brown spots from sun exposure/sun damage?

Brown spots from the sun, especially when they are patchy, is usually melasma. Vitamin C is one ingredient that can help with melasma!

I wish Klairs would leave the essential oils out of their products. I loved the OG serum, but I am now allergic to oranges. This new serum shouldn't have those ingredients...

I have absolutely no idea why anyone would bother with this product instead of just getting the Geek&Gorgeous Vit C... expensive and full of unnecessary crap. I think I'll pass ahah

Alot of people can’t tolerate high percentages of Asorbic acid. I wish G&G done a 5 or 10% for those of us with sensitive skin but unfortunately they don’t. So some resort to the derivative instead, I know AA is gold standard for efficiency so I personally would bother with anything else.
