It seems weird to hear it but I can see how it happened that they really didn't know each other till the 3rd season. These are grown men playing in a very hard league where your relationships are mostly wirh the coaches, agents & family. Plus players are in and out of teams.

What Klay isn't mentioning in this particular interview, is that it was him that hated Steph in the beginning 😂. He admitted that in an old interview. He hated him but then realised that Steph was actually nice and he couldn't hate him anymore lol.

That's not what he meant his rookie year and Steph Curry 3rd year. It was much to really talk about 2011-12 . Klay Thompson was coming of the bench his rookie year I think Steph Curry was also going through injury at the time.
