He should be a perfect fit for The Mavs. Not quite what he was a few years back, but should be real solid overall. He has come back from multiple potentially career ending injuries, so the man knows the meaning of hard work. Sure wish he was on on our Lakers, and stop killing us.

Man. Jason Terry was key in Dallas almost beating Shaq & Wade. I think Miami were underdogs too that yr. Great supporting Dirk during their title run. Won a 6th man of the year. Give the man his roses! At least it's Klay Thompson tho. Gotta give exceptions to HoF players. Dallas will be fun to watch.

We will miss DJJ but this move was a no-brainer. One stat I saw did it for me. In DJJ best year shooting 3s (which was last year with Dallas) he had 2 games all year of 5+ 3pt in a game. Klay Thompson, in a down year, had 25 games of 5+ 3pt in a game....you do the math! Our overall moves were better than anybodys and we will ultimately prove that next June. MFFL!

FYI: Klay Thompson was with the Golden State Warriors for 13 Seasons But Only “Played” in 11 for them. He missed the Entire 2018-19 and 2019-00 NBA Seasons because of His Knee then Achilles Injuries. Officially, the Warriors Traded Away Klay Thompson to the Mavericks.

My Warriors has made the right choice by getting Buddy Hield to replace Klay. Klay is just not the same anymore since he came back from his two seasons long leg injury.

Dallas is the team to beat in the West. Denver got worse. Minnesota got a little worse and I don’t trust KAT and Gobert. OKC got better but still unsure with their inexperience.

New CBA punishes the Warriors so much financially to resign Klay. They were able to clear $70M by unloading CP3 and Klay and were able to add three guys for less than $30M a year together (Melton, Anderson, Hield).

You cannot use one bad year as an excuse; all NBA players have at least one bad year. The Mavericks upgraded more than any other team out West and they are the defending conference champ. Stop it, Klay was trash and his basketball IQ was abysmal along with his defensive rating which is worse than Luka’s. He needed to go, smart move by the Warriors that will pay off. I think Klay will perform better in Dallas but if the Warriors kept him he just would have been terrible again.
