It is cut specifically for enduro riding - tapered and articulated arms, extra room at the back of the waist to accommodate a tool pack - but does not contain any armor. It is built to be worn over a compression suit but it also has pockets in it for the addition of d3o or basic CE armor, which can be purchased separately. It is a full Gore-Tex Pro Shell construction with 840D Invista Cordura in impact areas and leather paneling on the inner legs for heat/wear resistance.
This is an excellent garment for the off-road and Adventure rider who spends limited time street riding. It will keep you protected from all the elements and is cut for off-road riding, so the comfort and flexibility is there as well. Put on over a compression suit or get the d3o armor kit, and you've got a bombproof enduro get-up.
