Bought my Klipsch Forte II's new in 1990 and still use them every day. Had a copy of 1812 Overture with real cannons firing, there was no distortion. Really a magnificent speaker.

Sounds unbelievable. Great stuff man. So dynamic but smooth Got some Forte IIs in walnut coming with the crites Crossovers already in, titanium Diaphragms already in, some nice Dynamat and no rez mods. Etc. Basically same stuff I did to my KG4s, but someone else already did it. They're in unbelievable shape too. Pretty dam excited. Got em for $725 too and no shipping as I'm picking them up. Mods, that I would have done anyway, alone are $400 so I basically got them for 325. Can't beat it, especially how the prices are skyrocketing. Patience pays off. Right now I'm using my KG4s with my 1959 Bell carrilion 6060 EL34 amp, all Telefunken and 1950s amperex 12ax7s and Mullard xf2s in it. Love that bell. Although Scott's are what got me into tubes so big fan too. Using a separate lounge audio gold lcr max phono stage, and my JVC-QL75. Rotate between my signet TK10ml and Empire Edr9 cart. Right now it sounds great. And I was honestly never a Forte fan. But j finally heard the IIs and loved them. I like them better the Is. Changed my impression of the Forte. Sounded wider. More depth imo too. And midrange was better Anyway I can't wait as they're going to fit in perfectly I was going to go crazy and spend an ton of money on "Audiophile" speakers. But imo not only do good klipsch sound unbelievable, but they dominate in dynamics, presence, realness and soul. They get my feet tapping immediately. And imo those are the most important things behind sound quality in general. Thera nothing worse than a speaker that doenst get my feet tapping imo. And they love vintage tube amps. So it was an easy choice. Hell my KG4s sounded great.

Have you thought about getting them higher off the floor? I removed the stupid little base and then raised 10 inches. Huge improvement!

I had this exact setup. My wife ruined it.

please, at the least , list your equipment paired with these speakers. its a stereo chain, all items interact and influence the sound. you did a video so why not at least list the complimentary items in your system? also, you do realize that album was one of the 10 best mixed and recorded albums of generations, and that also impacts what we hear.

Wonder why the audio doesnt change with camera position.

I really like when my sound systems sound is identical to my headphones it sounds great but at first it sounded strange because my tweeters loudness is a lot lower then what it used to be

the lowest frequency my mid speaker makes is 300 hertz that means my mid speaker is better then your mid speaker Matthew Krepp
