Goal was sub 40 mins, this run was pretty insane, it might even be a comparatively better run than my 1:21:49 mw2, it's close though.

does the speedrun mod make speedrunning more fun for you or do you prefer classic speedrunning or are you still on the edge

It's fairly different, but in terms of just fun I'd say fairly similar. The original game will always be considered more important in terms of world records and things though.

practicing certain aspects of missions yes. i also like this mod because you always have constant pressured placed on you to perform well and to not mess up

In most games there are cinematics and maybe unskippable scenes. Maybe also slow motion scenes. The speedrun mod basically removes all of it and makes everything normal so that you can perform a satisfactory speedrun

The mod skips almost all of the waiting compared to the normal run, which also ends up changing some strats slightly.

I think track 1 changed into track 2 rapidly because player was not supposed to reach this place with track 1 playing

I use to play this game against some of the worlds most competitive fps gamers of the time for pc snd.... and even i didn't know you could bhop this game wtf lol

In multiplayer you can't, you can do a strafe jump and gain speed, and this could be used to get on the plane in terminal for example, but you would slow down massively after landing, singleplayer is different, and much more fun :).

This is just who moves fastest. Rather see a speedrun on veteran difficulty. Sure this guy smokes that too!

One of the reasons I like cod as a speedrun game is that it doesn't get entirely dominated by a single skill like movement, you have to be good at everything else as well for movement to matter. Here is the veteran run of mw2 anyway though. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eNmVatdz36nDoX0.html
