KLX 300 on Hard Trails. Trying out the Insta 360 X3 Camera

I just purchased a second camera for capturing unique angles and footage. I test out the Insta 360 X3 straight out of the box with the clamp and selfie stick from the Motorcycle Bundle. The park I am riding in is Walker Valley ORV, A local offroad park that has a lot of variety of trails from flowy to insane rocky trails and hard enduro style riding.

The 360 view always reminds me of those old video games where you had to sit on a plastic motorcycle and you drove a video bike on a big screen. Pretty funny.

I would highly recommend the glass lens protectors. I use the same camera for off-road and once you drop it and scratch the lenses the camera is done for

The Insta 360 is great as long as it works. My X2 was an overheating SOB. I'm hoping a firmware update and less demanding settings will help with that. You definitely don't wan't to skimp on the SD card, though.

I would say 1080p is good enough for most if not all people, 2.5 and 4k are insane not just on size but on editing and rendering as well, even with 300mb/s download 1080 is spotty at best for loading a video at least for me im not sure what other people view at but i dont even think your brain can process 4k properly definitely cant go over 60fps, 4k is for like if you need to zoom in a lot and over 60 is if you need slow mo and stuff. 2.5k is like the threshold for resolution that your brain can tell the difference everything after that is pure placebo. ANYWAY sorry about that hope the rear brake issue on the KLX is simple and easy! and that the T Dubs get the love they need once you get the time!

1080p isn't bad if you're watching on a phone but when you are watching on a larger TV it can look a little blurry especially when you are moving for sure from what I experienced. I got to rebleed my rear brake for sure that should fix it.

Love the shots from the 360. I wonder if putting it a bit to one side would help show what’s in front a bit better.

I'm going to try different angles for sure. Its nice that you can reframe a shot in the app. I just need to learn how to use the app better. There is so much you can do with it.

I just have the mad dog ATV seat cover on and it provides a little more comfort but mine is extremely worn out

Tusk dual sport adventure tire on the back and the front is the same I believe

@dualdorks about to have the stock d605s wore out on my 23 klx I'm between the tusks or d606 may have to give the tusk a try

I ended up pulling that image from google. Could be inaccurate for sure but definitely want a card with V30 video speed or higher. After the new card I haven't had any issues since.
