Bernadette Cooper was the female version of Morris Day. She was the true figurehead for this band. She ended up furthering her musical adventures by producing for Salt n Pepa, Shalamar, and many other artists. I didn't know until I saw her later at another show that she was also a multi-instrumentalist who played keyboards, drums, and bass guitar. We were so used to seeing her be the front lady for Klymaxx, that her true talents went unnoticed. She was and still is a phenomenal woman.

My brother & I would always laugh at the guy attached to the Pop N Lock machine. Then we found out his name is Pop-N-Taco : he was a choreographer for Michael Jackson, and also worked with the famous Bungalow Shrimp. You gotta respect those type of accomplishments from a kid who grew up in the hood. Plus, he’s kinda dressed like Ryu from Street Fighter, and that’s pretty cool too😂

I remember my uncle girlfriend back in the day was bumping this out his cadillac. While puffing on a cigarette with the windows down blowing smoke out.

I was a child in the 80's. Klymaxx reminds me of your beautiful young next door neighbours who got picked up for a date back in the 80's.
