Bbygirl still chose the thumbnail even though she doesn't like WBSS
INFO:
Michael Jackson performing ‘Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'’ in Manila, Philippines at the Asia World City Concert Grounds, on December 10th, 1996. This is the second night, the first night being on December 8th. Performed for a total amount of 110.000 people (55.000 people each show)
THOUGHTS:
One of my new favorites for sure. Don't know why I never cared for it before now. Everything but his voice is fantastic here, despite the little instrumental fail that occurs shortly at 2:02 - 2:05, the instrumental is amazing. His dancing and energy are definitely the highlights, there is just so much of everything. I just wish the cinematography was better. There's too many times (throughout the whole show) where there's a close up of Michael's face while he's dancing so you miss some cool ass movement, such as at 1:12 and 4:18
WHAT I DID:
Thanks to @VinVonVoom for sending the files. Source merge using MediaCorp 5 and GMA to get the best looking video possible (For half the performance, the latter half is not included in the GMA broadcast, so there I just used the MediaCorp 5 source). MediaCorp 5 source is so dark that the background is just straight up full void sometimes, GMA is just in worse quality but the lighting is way better, so I combined them to get the best of both. I also did color correction, lighting correction, audio mix using the Live Album source
