I said I would never archery hunt with a crossbow but age and shoulder injury has forced me to use a cross bow. I would like to know what type of target will let you pull the bolts out easily. I have several and they are bear cats to pull bolts. Very good video. Thank you.

Spyderweb 18x18x14. Anything over 400fps you'll want this. I trashed a bunch of bolts sighting in mine at 20 yds when I used other bags that said they were 450fps+. The bolts won't go in very far at any range and they're very easy to pull out. It's pricey but I would've saved money getting this in the first place rather than trashing my bolts.

You are welcome! I use a "Block" name brand target. Mine is rated for 400 fps. It works, but it can be a tug to get the arrows out. It helps to use one of those rubber grip arrow grabbers you can buy.

Thanks for the great crossbow tips. Deer hunting has been a little tough around here lately. Might take a road trip down to Camaros crawlers and get some of that promiscuous doe scent. love it.

Same here, I've been learning that a huge number of these failures "after 6 shots" (big red flag) are user error. Super important to learn how to maintain and prevent damage whenever possible

A little off subject, I understand they just opened a DNR shooting range in Marquette, county that goes out to 400 yards and has an archery area. Is that something that you would use? It looks like you’ve got plenty of room for target practicing on your place.
