In KNF Brown rice vinegar is an important staple used in many different inputs. From Water-soluble calcium to taking IMO to stages 3 and 4, you need Brown Rice vinegar or BRV.
Natural Farming is a method of putting the power of agriculture back into the hands of the growers. I like to refer to it as more organic than organic. It focuses on cultivating and building healthy living soil through the use of Indigenous Microorganisms and other inputs. These inputs can be crafted from man common household ingredients.

Thank you for taking the time to make and share your BRV video, greatly appreciated. Does it matter what kind of water you use in the fermenting process? Do you strain the rice out afterward the PH test? How do you store the completed BRV? Can it be stored at room temperature, if so for how long? Can it be stored in fridge if so for how long?

You should use dechlorinated water. But I have successfully made BRV with regular tap water. Yeah strain the rice out after the pH test. Some people strain the rice after a month or two and then allow the liquid to keep fermenting for months. After it has reached the proper pH, you can store the BRV in a glass jar at room temperature indefinitely.

BTW, your video tech is on point!!! I'm just finishing 10 yrs of video taping hockey games (son is going off to college) so I'll be doing gardeing segments, and journaling my journey through KNF. When you do the Rice Sugar Ferment are you sealing the lids ??

No, you use a breathable lid.

After you add water and mother, you said to ferment for a month. Is that with the towel on? Or with the cap? I see a seal cap before measuring the ph. Thanks in advance!

Place a breathable lid on top like a towel. Once it's finished fermenting, you can store it in a container with a lid

No you cannot. Kombucha Scoby will own yield kombucha and needs to be fed sweet black tea.

Can you do this with white rice. I'm assuming rice wine vinegar is made with white and not brown. Also can you use white sugar instead of brown

Yes white rice is the key. BRV or brown rice vinegar is made with brown rice I have seen people use white sugar but jaggery or brown sugar is the best

@@bigcitygardener thanks. I get the seasoned rice vinegar not sure if this would be similar to that. (It has a tent of brown but not as dark). Not sure if you know but is there a difference in taste when using white or brown rice. I'm trying to get close to the one that I buy. also my son loves it too so would be great to make some at a cheaper cost.
