Everyone talking about injuries for the knicks but nobody talking about the Pacers shooting 67% for the whole game and scoring 130 points. They broke the record for highest shooting % in a playoff game since the Celtics in 1990 and y’all want to cry about injuries. I disagree with that take. The cowboys are always loaded with talent but can’t get past the first round. The Cowboys are always front runners with Super Bowl expectations. The Knicks haven’t been a legitimate threat in the playoffs until 3 years ago.

As a casual fan of small-market teams I have to say I was disgusted by the performance of the commentators of the game; they talked incessantly about the Knicks, which showed their bias. Indy shot 67% - the highest percentage in NBA playoff history - how about giving them some friggin' respect??? Big market fans live in their bubbles and show their stupidity to the nation.

I never understood people whining about "big market vs small market". There are 2 teams that have over a 3rd of the NBA's championship (Celtics and Lakers). I would be more upset about franchises that have won over 15+ titles in their history, like those 2. The Knicks are starved for title wins just like the Pacers. They both deserve love.

The commentators felt moved to do that, because they knew that the skeleton crew of the Knicks shouldn't have been able to push a fully healthy Pacers team to a 7 game series. I mean, the best offense in the entire league should have swept what was left of that Knicks team in 4🤔😳

I’m a Pacers fan who has hated the Knicks my whole life, but I almost feel bad for Stephen A. That team fought harder than any Knicks team I’ve ever seen, and I know we will see them again in better health in the future

I think any realistic person can say the Knicks didn’t choke, they ran out of gas. They shouldn’t be disrespected here. ESPN has way too much joy in the Knicks losing over the years, it’s what made me start rooting for them
