Gotta do Precious. Give the man his flowers. Deuce might as well sign his contract in blood imo 😆 🤣. His value as a 3 D wizard cant be overlooked. ESPECIALLY if its in the 2nd unit. Now if we have to package him to get Mikal... i MIGHT be ok with that depending on what else we have to give up and who/what else comes with Bridges. Bc finding another Deuce/Quickley type player via draft is not as easy as we think.

Great analysis, as always, CP. An in-house adjustment we will never know about is the Q.Grimes fall from grace imo. Thibs loved Mcbride AND Grimes and I think they were the pieces meant for the run. Whether Grimes got ancy or just grew out of it too fast...he fell out of favor with Thibs. I think it benefited Deuce because it encouraged the coach to play Deuce more in the long run. Just a thought 🤷‍♂️

Dueces was doing his thing in the playoff only if thibs run more play for the kid he really got potential to everything 💯😈i hope we keep him he a good backup for Brunson we was just not healthy enough watch next season when we healthy 👺👿knicks forever until my time go

Knicks don't need Spida anymore and Deuce should be considered untouchable...I'd be pissed if he was traded for anyone in the league. His shot is unique...He's like Dick Barnett on steroids. I haven't seen an arc on a shot like that in a long time and he's mouse quick. As good as Dante is, and that is almost All Star level, Deuce is better than Dante. Dude has an opportunity to be one of the greats...Final thought: The Knicks have a great history with late first round and second round picks so I would seriously consider keeping these incoming young bucks we got coming

Everyone was bugging out about his shot not falling..Or why his hot game wasnt transferring to NBA...they all failed to realize that those were the shit minutes he was playing. He was literally a non factor. How do you expect someone to catch fire if hes playing 43 seconds and 2 minute stints?! Ive always said this. HE NEEDS MINUTES...REAL MINUTES. Now look at him! Prince of NY. His shooting didnt need "improvement" it was ALWAYS there!

One of the reasons he looked bad at the beginning he was forced to play in the backcourt with the fourth 4th Villanova 6 ft point guard and it wasn't a good fit

NBA players tend to develop themselves more so than any other sports. Opportunities given to make mistakes and grow from it is always the determining factors on if they’ll maintain or not in the full landscape of things. That being said Thibs gets no credit for developing Deuce imo. He was forced into playing him in so many ways that too long to state and the kid turned out to be good as we thought he was. Don’t let ya CAA ties blind you to the frustrations of the common folks CP 😂😂😂😂

IMHO Duece was signed to that mid-season contract so the Knicks could use him in a deal when trading Randle for another player during this off-season. Deuce is dope. I hate that he's going to be used. This is a business, unfortunately. I dunno if anyone else realized this, but in games against the Pacers when the Knicks got blown out, Thibodeau pulled his stars, but left Deuce on the floor during garbage time 👎🏾👎🏾

@@taemac10 It wouldn't be a selling price for Randle. It would be the asking price of a team giving up a Giannis. I hope the Knicks hold onto McBride. While he was shaky at times in the playoffs, he has a lot of potential.
