Everyone should sign this petition. Petitions are normally pretty useless when targeted at legislators, because they just don't care, but when targeted at a business, they can be very effective. Started my KZfaq Channel right around the time Meta started this BS… really hurts getting your message across. I’ve had luck on Tik and YT Shorts but nothing on Instagram. Petition signed and I encourage others to do the same. Thanks for brining this issue to light MC!

next up will be drones, because they're also weapons now. So much for FPV! Everyone is in a storm right now because rotor riot and others are building drones to be used in combat zones,,, but that will probably result in people making normal drone content being restricted because of the other capabilities of drones.

im a small firearms parts manufacturer, at first IG was a bit of a cash cow, then things changed overnight and the cow was turned in to burger. luckily word of mouth and happy customers are keeping my ship from fully sinking, and its just a side gig i do for me , but if it was my primary source of income id be fckt in the water with a bunch of hamburger and no life raft. im now doing a digital detox, for now.

MC, I would encourage you to continue this work on bringing change to the EDC community and its relationship to tech. You should host some round table discussions about this issue. Try to get a multitude of voices and opinions. Solutions should not just revolve around getting private companies to cater to this small community. Discussions should be taking place on how to better use tech to empower the EDC community.

Meta is out for the EDC community. They put restrictions on my account (no live streams for my personal account or connected business account) for posting EDC content, in private groups that didn’t meet their “guidelines”. I do think Meta is targeting content creators and the EDC community. I signed the petition.

I have noticed a number of knife makers/mfrs. simple knife pictures have been deemed inappropriate content. In all cases, I was able to click a link and view it anyway, but this extra step should not be necessary. Signed the petition

Here's the thing, Meta is straight up preventing or in some cases taking down knife/EDC related content and if it does stay up it may be flagged as sensitive content and blur it out with a warning which usually leads to many people missing it or not seeing it especially depending on your settings (which may be a certain way by default). If less people see the content then the community shrinks or ceases to exist on the platform forcing them to leave. It cost time and in some cases money to create content for others on the platform especially if they're trying to promote or discuss new trends products or topics.

Meta will eventually cancel itself out of business - businesses will continue to look for avenues that are more balanced and fluid for their products and services. There will be some other social media outlets that will follow FB into the cancel culture abyss and hopefully some that start navigating back to allowing a more balanced approach - there will be a long line of casualties to get back to normal unfortunately
