An idea i had quite some time ago, making a Kwaiken from a rusty old file and a broken carpenters ruler, using the ruler for scales and adding in some contrast with Tiffany blue g10 liners and pins.

I REALLY like that idea with the folding ruler as handle scales. May have to borrow this idea for a whittling knife I'm putting together, that'll come in handy when I misplace my other ruler 🤣 Excellent work as always, let me know if you ever want any old tools, I dig bottles from a Victorian era tip, I'm forever finding stuff like old axe heads and the like 🤙

I found a 10lb spiking maul head about a year ago, made by Footprint of Sheffield! I've also found about 19kg of lead, and there's quite a bit of asbestos sheet there also, which we steer well clear of...

I do believe you are missing an important part of his videos, yes he's making weapons etc but he also has a big element of entertainment to his productions, if all your after is verbatim engineering then there are a myriad of channels that go into every tiny aspect of how to file or cross file a blade etc.

I assume you haven’t made a knife before, stock removal in this was needed because I wanted to keep the file teeth there, not everything needs to be forged, it’s not cutting corners it has reason and im not a “forging channel” i build a variety of different things using different processes but the process i use are relevant to what i make and have reason.

That is a knife of master quality. It's rare to see something of that caliber that's artisan made here in the states. You could make serious money here in the US. I love the ruler scales. Bad ass. Would make a great fishing knife. Youd have three inches of knife handle to measure fish. By the way hows the Mrs? And the baby? If I remember right you guy had a baby fairly recently

Tongue dexterity and finally seeing enough clamps being actively used in a shot has gotten me to the point of saying that you are my favorite channel/creator on YT. This is a very substantial feat, considering that you had to get around my "all time fave" which is the Ace of Bass karaoke party video with festive ambient lighting.
