Shows how different it is from the movies . In real life with people that know what they are doing its small and fast movements and you ARE getting cut or stabbed or both. We break out the magic markers sometimes to show the hits. We all end up looking like road maps .

I've read that one should expect to be injured during a knife fight. How badly is the part one can control.
@CaesarzBox10 ай бұрын
Sometimes. Tho they are playing. In real life if you fear death yeah, you make extra sure to take your enemies down as quickly as possible. If you fear man and just fear to fear, you will lose all fights and surely die. Engage any fight as if it is going to be your last day on this Earth. Always take much pride in your soul. Look after yourselves. Be patient. Learn to not fear humans. If you fear death, you will head into any battle fearless. You fear death to overcome your opponents. Even if it means that the possibility of you dying is high probability. You head into that battle regardless. Men fear those men who fear death. A man who has everything to lose is more dangerous a man than a man who fears life. A man who fears life has not a thing to lose & not a thing to gain. A man who fears life is a man who is afraid of everything. Remember this comrade & topple your foes.

@@ucfj You should film some vids with all those "knife defense" gurus & draw some roadmaps all over their idiot skulls " To be clear, there IS such a thing as knife defense. People are just saying, you can't really expect to get into a knife fight and not be cut at all. You can avoid being cut in vital places. For example a cut on the outside of your forearm, while it will bleed, will probably not cause you to bleed to death. 🙂 (Just like in unarmed self defense: how likely do you think it is that the other guy won't get in a single strike?? How many western boxing matches have you seen where one guy has no bruises and the other guy is knocked out? It happens, but it's rare. The question is, how badly do you get hurt.)

Noticed why the guy on the left is more effective? He uses a stabbing movement and makes a 'straight lead'. The guy on the left is equally fast but uses a slashing movement more, hence loses time and telegraphs to his opponent more.

No matter what the style or how long anyone has practiced, every sparring video looks the same and impossible to tell the first timer from the life long guru. . Basically you can learn all you need to learn about knife fighting in a few hours. Practicing martial arts for your entire life does not seem to provide any advantage in a knife fight. Dont believe me, spar with electric shock knives and see how quick years of training disappears.
@user-sg8kq7ii3y3 ай бұрын
Very true. In other martial arts - like in BJJ, Judo, wrestling, or boxing, a beginner would have virtually no chance against an experienced competitor. No chance at all. An NCAA D1 wrestler would DEMOLISH the average person, with no grappling experience, in seconds. But with knives/machetes/axes, it's different because you don't need as much skill. The blade does all the damage, and all one needs to do, to cause damage, is to hack, stab, or slice. It doesn't take much at all. No special skills are needed. No technical mastery is needed. Just basic, gross motor movement to stab, chop, or slice - almost anyone can do those things. Even small children.
@404errorpagenotfound.63 ай бұрын
@@user-sg8kq7ii3y agreed the motor skills used in knife attacks are built into our DNA that's why statistically most knife attacks are stabbing in an ice pick grip. Also almost no knife attack victims were in a "fight" they were stabbed before they knew there was even a threat. A lot of people are not even aware they have been stabbed until the attack is over.

Ive seen real knife fights on gore sites and if you reach your hands get disabled. These guys knows what they are doing. They are targetting hands. In gore videos whoever loses limbs tends to just bleedout first or just get rushed when he loses the ability to hold knife. (Then beheading or neck slicing happens) There is an isis video teaching knife targets on a real human and the subject went unconcious not long after a major artery is cut. Knives are nasty and brutal
