I was kind of thrown off by the graphics style at first, but this is a very good game! It is very smooth and responsive of your inputs... the fact that all of the knights abilities level up based on how much you use them and you can mix and match is a giant bonus! Also, what I did not expect, is that I am greatly into the story as well im this game as the dialogue is mostly spoken and charming to me.

I really like the way they did the fog in this game, gives me a rougelite- Fate type vibes. Can't wait to try this! Looks extremely addictive and hard to put down, exactly what I need.

This caught my eye as I was checking out other channels, so I'm glad to see a review on here as well. The voice acting work seems to add so much to the overall charm to this game. This has been added to the wishlist, and I might take a stab at it once I've finished with Sea of Stars!

I’m enjoying this! A few things hold it back from Hades-level quality though: -I’ve experienced lots of stuttering. -The random elements and choices are relatively lacking, so the runs feel a lot more “same-y” than many other roguelikes. With some updates and patch work, though, this game could be a real gem!

Love the demo. Been playing for a while and it's def addictive. I love how the narrator explaining bits by bits about the story too. It looks like Hades but focusing on the Camelot

Just seeing the video alone its interesting that you can see where different influences have really come into the game from its competition in the genre, you said quite a few that I instantly agreed with. Some games when they try and take a bit of everything don't let them mesh well and it's nice to read that this one does. I will be adding it to my collection soon no doubt next payday and I also like seeing visual evolution of a hub area, it feels more worth it that you playing, gaining skill and more currency each run has a greater effect on the hub and it grows with you. very good review and hope someone enjoys that oled switch, lovely soul whoever donated that.

It looks like it plays pretty smooth. I’m getting a dopamine rush whenever you defeat a boss and the victory message and fancy lights pop up on the screen. Love me some Hades and this looks pretty sick. Thanks for the suggestion.

We just watched this as a family and we weren’t even halfway through and almost everyone was saying “I want it”. 5 of the 6 of us play Hades. I can’t without changing lights and effects in the game - but even I want to try Knight and Giants. This looks great.

I've actually yet to play Hades, but with Slay the Spire easing me into the roguelite formula, I'm starting to understand the appeal and I'm more willing to try out other games of that genre, and this one looks really attractive. Love the homing bullets! And there's a demo available! OK, gonna download that one and try it out very soon! Thanks for the video! Roguelikes/lites have been my favorite genre since the first version of Binding of Isaac released way back when. They are very hard to do right though… has to be the perfect distillation of gameplay, run variety, synergies, unlocks, etc. Interested to try this one!

Reminds me of Death’s door! It’s like death’s door Hades version! Been looking for an isometric Hades like game for a while now! Happy to know it runs well at 60 FPS and just $20 USD

It seems that some people are turned off when they see another rogue like game due to the absurd amount of options we have available to play. I for one love the genre especially because the game will continue to have replay ability games like this have after you complete the story. The boss fights caught my eyes in this review and it runs a lot smoother that most games you’ve reviewed recently which I love to see.

Honestly! I’ve gotten almost every single game done in this style that you’ve recommended, Most recently Ember Knights and Doomsday Hunters! But Also Hades, Children of Morta, Curse of the Dead Gods, Eldest Souls etc. some of my favorite reviews from Switch up as well straight forward good old fashioned pick up and have a ton of fun right away! I hope I’ll be able to get this as well.

I love Arthurian Legend and I have played most of their games. There has been a lot of darker toned Arthurian games as of late, but this is a nice take with a more whimsical color palette. Would definitely love to give this one a go.

I grew up in the UK in the 80s 90s and it was common just to go round your mates house and just let yourself in. I think I was watching the last video and for some reason I imagined you Mark walking round to Glens place and waltzing in the back door, flicking the kettle on and helping yourself to the hobnobs 😂 Maybe you could also have a hobnob selection? It looked pretty decent already before release, but good to know it’s up to snuff! Giveaway or no, I’ll definitely keep an eye on this and buy it on sale sometime and try the demo, looks like I’ll have fun when I get to it. Definitely a fan of how nice and smooth it looks in motion.
