making this as my first real knit project and it looks so good so far! it’s a great pattern because all of the different colors make any mistakes i make much less visible. i’m using up all of my old acrylic yarn and doubling up with wool and cotton blends so it’s still soft! i’m so excited to see how it looks.

Help needed!! I'm a newbie kniter and have hit a hurdle early on. Switching from the 4.5 mm to the 6 mm when doing the raglan shaping and there are still stitches on my 4.5 mm once i've got to the 5th stitch marker. I've counted and recounted that I did the correct number of stitches as the pattern says but you seem to have all the stitches on the 6mm before you do the short rows. I hope that made sense and help (off anyone!!) would be very very welcomed !!

hey Karen! you might want to consider treating yourself to a set of interchangeable circular needles, I’ve had mine years and use them for everything and I absolutely love them! I like wooden needles but that’s just personal preference. You can pick up a set fairly reasonably for about £40-£50 :) x

I've read through all the pattern info and all the comments here, and do not see anything that says how much yarn you need if you don't have piles of scrap DK to use up. It doesn't appear in the printed directions and I didn't hear it mentioned in the video, but someone did ask in the comments and got no answer. I don't usually use DK so I don't have any to use up and don't want to buy more than I need just to make sure I have enough. So how many yards does this sweater need for the various sizes?

Hey im a little lost on the part where we place the stitch markers? Whenever i get to placing the last sitch marker and the k1 yo and k2 i still have 12 stitches left on the smaller needles. i’ve doubled checked that i’ve counted right and i have but still have these stitches. I’m working the size small

Can I share a little tip with you that I like to share with fellow knitters? When I've cast on my stitches I change my left hand needle tip (the needle that holds the stitches) to a size or 2 smaller. This makes knitting much easier and faster, try it. Obviously you can't if you have fixed needles LOL
