Knitting a fixed folded brim

Жыл бұрынHere is how I attach a fixed folded brim to my hats. You knit the cast on edge together with the live stitch stitches.
Pattern shown: My Sandpiper Beanie. I used Malabrigo Mecha yarn from my shop threebirdsyarnstudio.com. I have a ton of colors in stock and everything is ready to ship. Free shipping on domestic US orders over $100.

Do you knit and purl for ribs or just all knit?

i just knit the join. Basically follow what the body of the hat instructions say, no need to continue the ribbing

what needles do you use? Also I LOVE how this folded brim looks! so pretty and so clean and effortless.
