It always brings respect, for me, when the author has experienced what she is writing about and came out the other end knowing the gifts it brought to her.

Great video, thank you! 3 critical points: 1) write from the scars, not the wounds, 2) as a teaching, and 3) "what am I giving to the reader'. I felt such authenticity and joy from both women watching this interview, and I'm grateful. The timing is perfect, too :) -Rivka Edery

I just watched this video right now - noontime of Dec. 16 - but which I received in my email from Kelly/KN Literary 2 wks ago. It is just now 2 wks later, that my mind got opened up and ready to receive the important messages from the Over-Soul from listening to Elisa and Kelly here. Yes, I am now writing daily for the book my soul came here to write. I have taken steps forward since I last connected with Kelly around the spring/summer of this year. What helped overcome or undo the blockage to writing was the course I took in memoir-writing in the fall. And of course being a HayHouse Writing Community member helps me to not give up and supports the inner-growth I need for my continuous self-development. Thank you for this Kelly 💝

To give up on oneself must be the greatest tragedy if we feel we have something worthy to say, heehee I am not sure if I am “normal”, I like reading my own stuff n sometimes wipe off a tear or two. Luv Hay House, Kelly, Reid n Nancy, I resonate with them but do not know why. Another abnormality perhaps but who cares, I have fun n joyous feeling. Thanks.
