I'm anxiously awaiting this release. I prefer 75% boards, and want aluminum, but need wireless. Right now I'm doing just fine with a 65% Everglide SK68, but would love to get a 75% that fits my needs.

Did you tape over the flex cuts? Been wondering if I should do that to my unit ever since keybored’s video about flex cuts came out. I do plan on doing an all foam build.

I did not. In my opinion. that only applies to no-foam build. WIth an all-foam build, you are essentially sealing up the whole keyboard thus flex-cuts do not matter.

How's the anodized finish? I see a lot of KZfaqrs saying the spray painted one looking cool with the glitter but texture isn't nice. I just was looking for a flatter color and dunno if the anodized is metallic looking.

it is metallic looking for sure.matte finish. do not have the spray painted version to compare with.

Great vid man, looks like another decent board from QK, I couldn't help but notice the amount of reverb/hollowness from the spacebar though. Might have just been the switch springs, but I am curious either way.

Thanks! It is due to the early sample switch and warped spacebar sample which I cannot install properly. check my recent no foam video of the "mist" switches for a better comparison. You can further reduce the hollowness by further sealing the spacebar area and spacebar itself.

PS: what're your thoughts on this vs something like a GMMK Pro? Would the QK75 be a huge step up considering it's the same exact layout (minus the badge and gasket style).

Thanks, I have not seen other colors yet. Oh, the lube station is from a local studio, they made 80 of these (about$40 each). They are way too heavy and bulky to be sold internationally

Great video man! I have a question. Could you comment on the quality of the bundled keycaps and switches? What other keycaps and switches are they comparable to, in terms of quality? I'm planning to buy the QK80 in the upcoming GB, and I'm tempted to purchase the bundle but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra $70

these switches are just about average in my opinion but the keycaps are pretty good for the price. The keycaps have a dome-shaped inner structure which makes them sound pretty good. I would say these keycaps are on par and even better than some of the more expensive PBT caps on the market.

the plateless might be. With plate and all the foam it is solid. The pingy comes from the switches, as they are early samples. I am getting a 3rd iteration of these kailh switches this weekend.

lube only. 3204 for the stem and 105 for the spring. NO plz don't use film on these since they may alter sound and the cap is tight enough.

No and Yes. It has relatively normal length pole but thicker bottom which translate to 3.7mm short travel as well.

I think I'm not an RGB person too. I never miss it when using any custom mechanical keyb. Why would we need it tho, the rgb ruined the beauty of the keycaps almost all of us would be agree on that.

@@bosenngantor9160 I use single color light of RGB that match my keycaps to make them more vibrant. It's feature that embedded in the predecessor product, so removing it is a downgrade

QK60 sounds a bit more condense due to its small form factor. QK75 is close to Jelly in terms of sound
